As Mark got in, the manager beaconed him to hurry to where he sat which Mark did.

"You were reported for late coming and your carefree attitude so I am expected to scold you for it," the manager said in a low voice.

"Okay!" Mark agreed. He also wanted such to happen as to make him fit into being a mere employee, he didn't want his identity to be known too.

The manager cleared his voice as he sat down while Mark stood before him.

"I guess that you went through the rules and regulations given to you after you resumed work," the manager said in a loud voice so that anyone outside would hear it.

They suspected that Mr. Davis would be handing around to hear how the manager was going to scold Mark.

"Yes sir, I went through it," Mark replied like someone tense.

He prayed uncreatively doesn't betray him as he wasn't good at acting but the manager was acting so well.
