Chapter 23

Helen went with inexplicable sorrow. Mrs. Stone noticed Helen couldn’t eat her launch. She asked Helen what happened to her, but Helen didn’t answer.

Mrs. Stone explained how Helen was acting strange to his husband. Mr. Stone called Helen, making Helen to meet them in the sitting room.

“Who broke your heart?” Mr. Stone asked Helen.

“She won’t reply. How can we know what’s going on?” Mrs. Stone said.

Mr. Stone looked at Helen, saying, “Helen, are you hiding something from us? Please say something. You know your father love you so much.”

“Where’s my father?” Helen asked. “Where are my biological parents?”

Mr. Stone exchange glances with his wife.

“Dearly, what do you mean?” Mrs. Stone asked

“I’ve known the truth. You guys are not my biological parents,” Helen said.

“Who told you a lie?” Mr. Stone said.

Helen remain silence while Mr. Stone and his wife were pretending as if they don’t understand her.

Helen then fed up with their lies and said, “I’m a good detective. You both can’t keep d
