 "Forbidden Art.. Blood Louts!"

The Maester opened her mouth, revealing a set of two fangs that ruthlessly bit into her lower lips.

A single drop of blood dripped from her lips. Before this drop of blood could land on the ground, it suddenly floated mid air and began to spin rapidly, releasing a brilliant crimson sheen while in the process.

"Condense!" it was unknown whether this was the cry of a human or thunder, but a loud explosive noise resounded, shaking the whole Castle, down to its deepest foundation.

 Bang!!!

The Syphile Wheel finally landed on its target. A powerful wave of wind energy surged out from the center of the collision, spreading to all four direction, cleanly ripping into shreds whatever physical matter it passed by. Feeling the destructive force from the residue wave, the lightning wings behind Jason glowed brilliantly. However his speed appeared like the movement of a snail in the face of the approaching residue wave.

Seeing that the wave was going to hit him in no time, the lightning wings and boots on him disappeared as Aiden shut his eyes. He gave up fighting and embraced death.

 Bang!

The residue wave blasted Aiden's body into smithereen before continuing onward. It was only after it had destroyed a third of the castle that was already half destroyed did it finally weaken before finally subsiding.

"Ah. Ah. Ah.." Aiden panted as his legs trembled unstably while he supported his weak frame with his knees.

Just now he had managed to escape that residue energy wave by sacrificing a Sand Clone and escaping through using the Earth Mole skill. Casting these two skills successively had rapidly drained his energy, leaving only a quarter remaining.

Staring at the destruction the Slyphile Wheel attack caused, he couldn't help but sigh in admiration. Although the base Syphile Spear was powerful, the scope of its destructive output was limited. However by skillfully using the Syphile Wheel, he increased the damage output by many fold.

What Aiden didn't know was that this was a genius move. To deviate from the original path of a skill and incorporate one's insight into using it in a technical manner.. this was a legendary feat amongst even the most powerful Magis that required strong expertise and flawless control.

 Tap. Tap. Tap.

While the dust slowly dispersed, Aiden began walking forward. With every step he took, the injuries on his body healed up. As for his disfigured face, it gradually regenerated.

"Huh?" however his jaws dropped when he witnessed something he deemed impossible.

A couple distance away from  him was a giant sized lotus with three petals. However unlike regular lotus.. this one was condensed out from blood. From where he stood, Aiden could even smell the thick scent of blood wafting from the giant sized blood lotus.

 Crack!

A thin line suddenly appeared on one of the blood lotus petals, slowly extending to the other petals, before the whole body of the lotus shattered into dry blood colored dust.

 Whoosh!

A figure suddenly shot forward in an attempt to escape, only to run into a pale skinned youth, with his arms crossed across his chest.

"You!" the Maester weakly gasped in shock.

Her appearance was currently haggard and feeble. Although she had managed to survive the onslaught of the Syphile Wheel attack, she had barely survived.

Before she could think of struggling, a pale skinned face leaned close to her face, causing her gaze to fall on a pair of electrifying blue eyes.

"Sleep and bury your worries" she heard an irresistible whisper in her ears, causing her whole tout nerves to suddenly relax as her eyes dropped.

Dispelling *The Eye Of Nebula* skill, Aiden placed the unconscious frame of the Maester on his shoulder before reactivating the Lightning Wings as he shot through the now roofless castle.

With the amount of his energy remaining, he wouldn't even be able to last five seconds once he used the Monarch Departure skill.

 Bzzzt!

The destruction caused by  the Syphile Wheel skill had alerted the patrolling Soldiers and Kingsguards. Some of them were just about to check out the situation inside when they suddenly saw a blue beam shoot out, disappearing into the distance.

"The Maester has been captured!" one of the Kingsguard with sharp eyesight sounded the alarm  after catching a glimpse of the Maester on Aiden's shoulder while he fled.

 .

.

The lightning wings behind Aiden glowed brilliantly as he streaked through the dark skies of the night like a shooting star. On his shoulder was the unconscious frame of the Maester while his right arm was snaked around a slender waist.

"She's pretty" Aiden had just looked behind him to check whether he was being chased when he heard Marie's statement.

"Now isn't the time" he grumbled as he felt the harsh wind brush past his face, due to the immense speed he was moving at .

"So what? you chose to storm into that castle to kidnap a sleeping beauty? was she the priority you talked about?" Marie hissed.

"One more annoying word from you and I'm going to throw you away" Jason snarled impatiently.

"And I mean it" his eyes briefly glowed red.

With his energy almost depleted, he was slowly starting to feel the signs of a Hunger pang.

 Boom!

Aiden's sharp senses picked up movement from behind him, causing him to divert to the right. A ripple appeared at the spot where Aiden was previously occupying, revealing a crescent beam, as black as the night as it silently vanished into the distance.

"You!" glancing over his shoulder, Aiden noticed the culprit of the sneak attack.

It was actually a Kingsguard, riding a long pole like lance, speeding across the sky. To Aiden's horror, the movement speed of the other party totally eclipsed his own. Although he had previously held the advantage, it had taken the other party a couple seconds to close the distance!

 Boom!

The Kingsguard silently flicked his finger, sending out another crescent black beam shooting towards Aiden. In under such close distance, the teen Vampire couldn't maneuver his way through, causing the crescent beam to cleanly slice off one of his Lightning Wings, grazing through a inch of Aiden's flesh as the teen Vampire fell from the sky.

"Not good" under such a height, Aiden couldn't protect both Marie and the Maester if he fell. Not to mention now that the Lightning Wings had been forcefully destroyed, it was going to be under cool down for quite some time.

As Aiden panickingly mulled over his next course of action while he fell from the sky, he suddenly heard a voice in his head. Unlike the system A.I, this one sounded more sinister.

 —[Move aside!]

The voice was both sinister and authoritative at the same time. Before Aiden could even react to the sudden voice, he noticed his consciousness rapidly drift away.

"What the hell are you doing?" Marie cried in fright when she saw Aiden suddenly close his eyes as his whole body relaxed.

From the height they were falling from, she doubted she would be able to survive the fall in one piece. Although as a Vampire she wasn't going to die, watching your broken bones slowly resnappen themselves back to their original position wasn't a pleasant experience.

"Shut up.. annoying b*tch" Aiden coldly spat as his eyes suddenly snapped open..

They were currently a mixture of demonic black and red! staring at those eyes, Marie suddenly stiffened as a shiver ran through her whole body, all the way to the deepest corner of her soul.

Shing!Zhuge Dao's elbow dipped toward the side, following a sharp but swift quick-draw. The unsheathed cylindrical nebula condensed from dark purple energy swiftly stabilized into a spotless white blade with a slightly curved edge. Zhuge Dao slightly adjusted his one-handed grip around the hilt before he lunged forward. He proceeded to hack a diagonal slash precisely aimed at the neck of the rigid silhouette whose back was facing him.Boom! With barely an inch separating the blade from making contact with its intended target, it was suddenly met with an invisible but clearly palpable obstruction. The sheer force of impact caused the blade to bounce back.A trace of disappointment flickered across Zhuge Dao's eyes. Borrowing the force of the rebound, he dipped back with a sharp 360-degree spin. He had only just created a wide gap between them when a devastating surge of kinetic pressure erupted from Hector Le Roy's perfectly still frame. Appearing to possess an intent of its own, t

Roine Manor.Across the fifty fortresses within Rozhou, this particular territory enjoyed a unique prestige. Not only was it the residential domain of House Le Roy descendants, it was also the central seat of power for the entirety of Rozhou. Contrary to what its name suggested, the sheer size of Roine Manor was far from modest— nearly two times larger than a small-sized fortress city. In addition to the towering head manor, over a hundred lesser manors stood nestled within the enclosed boundary of the estate.Individually occupying their private estates, the owners of these "lesser" manors were all Demiurges of House Le Roy descent. With the main manor being the sole exception, access to these lesser estates was strictly forbidden to outsiders.Roughly five Shifts ago, a novice Civil Office holder had gotten lost after visiting Roine Manor for the first time. Aimlessly wandering the main estate grounds, he unknowingly crossed the acceptable threshold, instantly triggering one of the

Tap!All ten fingers clenched tightly around the hilt of his sword, Phillipe lunged forward. Instantly closing the gap separating him from Simon, he launched a wide horizontal slash—aimed directly at the midsection of his opponent.Fwip!Simon immediately entered a high overhead stance, both hands gripping the weapon near the top of the hilt. In the face of the incoming swing, he bounded forward. Driving an explosive stomp with his lead foot, he brought the blade of his sword straight down. Despite being the second to launch an attack, Simon's blade split the air a split-second faster than Phillipe's horizontal slash.Clang!Simon's blade dropped down with unbridled momentum. Overwhelmed by the sheer force of the collision, Phillipe's blade was violently deflected from its intended trajectory.'Not bad.' "I trust you'll make the right decision." Tristan's gaze shifted away from Mirai's ashen expression. He inhaled sharply, before gently pressing the bow against one of the violin strings. Following this precise movement of his fingers, a smooth musical note began to play. The pace of the melody perfectly and effortlessly maintained. It was neither too fast nor too slow, neither overwhelmingly loud nor hauntingly inaudible. Yet, the moment Tristan began to play the violin, the sound immediately drown out the noise of the surrounding scions' heated debate."Draw out your weapon."Down in the courtyard, the two young men stood facing each other. Separating them was a measured gap that could easily be traversed in a matter of a couple of breaths."I won't hold back." While his lips moved, Simon's fingers were far from idle.He curved his right hand into an L-shaped gesture, drawing his upper arm tight against his chest. At the same time, most of his fingers were clenched into a fist, sa

A few moments later, one of the two flower entertainers from earlier walked into the gazebo. She arrived before the table and dropped the violin case hugged against her chest. Once she left, Phillipe rose to his feet. "Who will be the first challenger?" Silence. Phillipe furrowed his brow. "How about you all come at me at me at once?" The expressions of the young scions present immediately went frosty. Individually hailing from prestigious backgrounds, all who were present were lauded as prodigies right from their childhood. As such, Phillipe's arrogant comment dealt a massive blow to their ego. "It will be an honor to spar with the second young master." one of the scions rose to his feet. Unlike a majority of his peers who were present, the young Demiurge boasted of a chubby frame that towered over six feet high. A few stubs of beards could be spotted across his jaws while his scalp was completely bald. Phillipe scanned his opponent like a hawk observing its prey. A smirk s

"I'll accept challenges from anybody in this establishment. As long as one of my challengers wins, I'll forgive the offense on behalf of House Le Roy." A tensed silence immediately enveloped the interior of Griffin Pavilion. Tacitly maintaining this silence, the scions who were present all exchanged heavy glances. From where he sat, Tristan battled hard to conceal his smile. He let out a small laugh. "A duel?" "Hm?" Phillipe's gaze shifted towards Tristan's direction. Annoyance flashed in his eyes. "Hm? do you think your demand is better?" "Of course not." Tristan responded. His gaze briefly shifted towards the direction of the scions. "However, I doubt any of them would dare challenge you." "Oh?" Phillipe's gaze swept over the scions. Briefly meeting his gaze, they all collectively averted their eyes towards the side. Satisfaction swelled up within Phillipe. However, he fiegned ignorance. "Why won't they challenge me?" Tristan's brows leapt in amusement while he inhaled sharpl
