"Bryan I am already pissed. Please don't test my patience."
"Ashley, can my injury cause me to hallucinate as well?"
Ashley was quiet for a moment before speaking again. "I don't know, I'll ask your doctor."
Ashley sat on the edge of Bryan's bed. "What happened there?"
Bryan Looked at Ashley and told her everything. He thought that Ashley will laugh at him or dismiss this matter. He was sure that Ashley will not believe him but to his surprise, Ashley just nodded in the end.
"It's late, and you have been through a lot, you should go back to sleep now."
"Wait!" Brian Said and grabbed Ashley's hand, "Do you believe me?"
Ashley took Bryan's hand into her own and said while looking into his eyes, "Of course I do, I believe that you saw something there but now you tell me do you believe that it was your imagination or reality?"
Ashley's question had left Bryan Speechless. What in the world was Ashley trying to say?
But he somewhat understood what Ashley meant. Bryan himself doesn't know whether what he saw was a dream or reality. Then how can he ask Ashley to trust him when he himself doesn't trust his instincts?
In the end, Bryan just laid back down on his bed and closed his eyes. This time Ashley stayed by his side till she was sure that Bryan was fast asleep.
Ashley stayed by his side, staring at Bryan's sleeping face and gently caressing it.

When Bryan Woke up the next morning, Ashley was by his side.
When Ashley saw that Bryan was awake, she smiled at him, "Good morning."
"Morning," Bryan said in his sleepy voice and sat up straight on the bed. While rubbing his eyes he recalled the events of last night.
It all seemed like some kind of dream. Whatever it was Bryan decided not to think about it anymore.
As Bryan got out of the bed making his way to the washroom, he felt cold, and then he noticed that it was raining very heavily outside.
Ashley also saw how Bryan looked so fascinated by rain, perhaps it was because he was seeing rain after his memory loss.
"You always had a fascination with rain," Ashley said as she came beside Bryan.
Bryan nodded, "Why wouldn't I? It's beautiful, isn't it?"
"Although I don't hate rain, I still don't understand what's so mesmerizing about it that you can stare at it for hours and not get tired."
"Go get fresh. After that, I will help you with the bath."
Bryan Looked at Ashley with a raised brow, "You will help me?"
"If you don't want to, then I can ask for a nurse, but the nurses aren’t available yet. You need to wait,” Ashley said in a whisper, making it obvious that she didn't like that idea.
Bryan chuckled, "I have no problem but are you sure you won't have a problem? And yeah, I don’t want to wait so..."
"No, I won't."
"Fine, then I will have to trouble you."
Bryan wasn't nervous at all that he would be naked in front of Ashley, how can it not bother him? Yes, Ashley was his girlfriend, but Bryan does not remember her.
Ashley loves this confidence in Bryan. This personality of go-with-the-flow can be annoying, but that is what makes him easy to approach.
"Let me take off your shirt," Ashley said as she helped Bryan to take off his shirt while being careful not to touch his wounds.
Bryan's injured hand cannot move much, it was quite painful to move his hand as well. That's why Ashley was extra careful.
But soon Ashley realized that it was a very, very bad decision to do this, taking care of Bryan was fine but she shouldn't have offered to help him bathe because now she has to take off Bryan's pants and just the thought of it was making Ashley blush but Bryan wasn't bothered at all.
Ashley kept the shirt to the side and then rubbed her temples before reaching out for Bryan's pants.
Bryan was trying not to laugh as he saw Ashley's tomato-like face, she was a blushing mess.
Although it was funny, Bryan Didn't understand why Ashley was so shy, aren't they in a relationship?
Suddenly a thought came to Bryan's mind, a thought which might not be true and which should not be said but his traitorous tongue had a mind of its own.
"Ashley, have we had sex before?"
Ashley froze and looked at Bryan With a bewildered face and wide eyes and mouth agape.
Seeing her reaction, Bryan pressed his lips, "So...we haven’t...yet."
"W-why are y-you suddenly? Did your injury get worse or what?" She answered.
Bryan's tongue once again betrayed him one again by saying the next question, "If you don't mind then can I ask another thing? Are you a virgin?"
"WHAT!!" Ashley asked, "NO, I AM... NO...Wait a minute, And we have done the deed but why are you suddenly asking all this?"
"Well, you were getting all shy, so I thought...and wanted to confirm," Bryan said.
Ashley sighed. "Bryan just keep quiet."
"I can't when you look so cute."
Ashley sighed. How can she forget how shameless and carefree Bryan is? Even after losing his memories, his habits are still the same.
Bryan's pants were finally down, but Bryan refused to take off his underwear.
"Just by seeing me like this, you are a mess. If I take off my underwear, then you will die from embarrassment, so just continue like this only."
