I looked at Cecilia awkwardly and nervously gulped. “Mrs. Hart, what can I do for you?”

 

Cecilia couldn’t help but giggle at the sight of my troubled expression. “James, why are you so afraid of me? I won’t eat you!”

 

Feeling embarrassed, I scratched my head and thought to myself, Would a grown man like me be really afraid of a girl?

 

“James, come and sit here. I have something to tell you.” Cecilia sat down on the bed and tapped the space beside her.

 

I walked over and sat down without giving it much thought.

 

“Mrs. Hart, are you in some kind of difficulty?” I could tell that something was bugging Cecilia and that she needed help.

 

Looking at me, Cecilia nodded apologetically. “James, you already know about Simon, and that I’ve been supporting the both of us alone. We still haven’t received any compensation, and I don’t have much money on my hands either. So…”

 

I understood before she finished. I took out my wallet and pulled out two hundred dollars. “I only have this much cash on me. Take this first. If it’s not enough, I’ll give you some more next time.”

 

“It’s more than enough. I’ll receive my salary in a few days.” Cecilia took the money with a grateful look on her face.

 

For some reason, I felt a lot better after Cecilia took the money.

 

“James, you’re very kind. I’m regretting it more and more now. Why couldn’t I marry you?” Cecilia deeply stared at me with a misleading look in her eyes.

 

I was immediately taken by surprise. My heart started pounding rapidly. I shook my head hard, quashing the rising thought. “Please stop kidding, Mrs. Hart. I’m your friend, I merely did what I should’ve done.”

 

Cecilia gave a soft smile. She then got up and nodded at me. “Okay, I won’t be polite either. By the way, if you have time tonight, why not join me for dinner at my house?”

 

Dinner at her house!?

 

My heart skipped a beat. I nodded in response without any thought.

At seven o’clock in the evening, I informed my Mom and headed straight to Cecilia’s house.

 

Her house wasn’t too far from mine. I reached her place in just a few minutes.

 

After walking up the entrance, I found her door ajar.

 

Light was coming through the door. I walked right in.

 

Just as I was about to say hello, a seductive moan rang in my ear. It was very sultry and immediately made my heart skip a beat.

 

Is that Cecilia’s bedroom?

 

I got closer and found the door open.

 

At this moment, Cecilia was sitting right on top of Simon in a cowgirl position. Her soft white hands were holding Simon’s waist and she was moving up and down.

But before I could even vent it, Cecilia stopped moving all of a sudden as she frowned slightly. A sliver of dissatisfaction flashed in her eyes, but there was nothing she could do other than lightly sigh as she slowly got off Simon.

 

I understood that Simon had already cum first, leaving her unsatisfied.

 

Immediately after, Cecilia wiped her body and got dressed before making her way to the door.

 

I hurriedly tiptoed my way back, quickly returning to the living room before getting discovered by her.

 

When Cecilia came out of the room, she was surprised to find me in the living room. “James, when did you arrive?”

 

I stood rooted on the spot, embarrassed. I did not know what to say. My mind was completely preoccupied with the passionate scene I just witnessed.

 

“Did…did you see everything?” Cecilia asked, blushing.

 

After giving it some thought, I finally decided to be straight with her and embarrassedly nodded. I knew very well that I couldn’t hide it from her.

 

Cecilia became even more ashamed after getting my confirmation. She bit her seductive pink lips with a perplexed look. After a while, she finally straightened her thoughts and asked me, “James, you must think that I’m a bad woman, right?”

 

I hurriedly waved it off. “Of course not. It’ll be hard to find someone as good as you these days. I’d marry someone like you when I do.”

 

I started regretting it as soon as I said it. It sounded very misleading.

 

But these words worked wonders on Cecilia. A sweet smile appeared on her face as she gazed at me with misty eyes. “James, I’m a normal woman too. Simon used to be great at it, but since his accident, he can’t do it as well. I also want someone to love me. Do you understand what I mean?”

 

After saying this, a seductive smile blossomed on her lips as she grabbed my hand and slowly pushed it under her skirt.

 

All the things Cecilia had been saying had all been for this. If I failed to understand now, I would be a total fool.

 

My blood immediately started pumping. My gaze toward Cecilia became a lot more passionate. All I could think of was Cecilia’s sultry figure. Something else also started to disappointingly react.

 

“I…” I couldn’t control myself. I stepped forward and tried to hug Cecilia. But before I could finish my words, Cecilia started speaking.

 

“James, are you hungry? Dinner is ready, join me for a drink.” Cecilia sweetly smiled at me. Her face was devoid of that previous seductive and misleading look.

 

Her invitation was like a bucket of cold water that had been poured over my head, bringing me to my senses. I nodded to her, embarrassed and cursing myself in my heart.

 

What was I thinking?

 

“Take a seat. I’ll bring the dishes,” Cecilia added with a smile. She then turned around and made her way to the kitchen.

 

Watching Cecilia’s well-developed and ravishing figure, my desires started rising again. I had no choice but to suppress them back to the bottom of my heart.

 

Very soon, Cecilia brought out four dishes and a bottle of white wine.

 

“Do you drink?” I asked, looking at Cecilia.

 

Cecilia smiled wryly. “I didn’t before, but I’ve been drinking since Simon’s accident. And I’m not a good drinker. I’ll get drunk from just a glass or two. So James, you can’t get me drunk and take advantage of me.”

 

“Mrs. Hart, please don’t make fun of me.” I shook my head, finding it funny and annoying at the same time. But I also sympathized with her. If it wasn’t for the car accident, she would not be in this kind of situation.

 

“Alright, alright, I won’t make fun of you. Cheers.” Cecilia picked up the glass in front of her and drank it all in one go.

 

The wine glass wasn’t that big but it was still more than enough. And yet she drank all in one go. Imagine my surprise.

 

After downing this one glass, a faint blush immediately emerged on Cecilia’s face. Even her eyes had turned a little drowsy.

 

“I think that you’ve had enough, Mrs. Hart.” I was worried that she would get drunk, so I tried to persuade her.

 

Cecilia waved me away, smiling at me charmingly. “I’m fine, James. I’m just a little sad and I wanna drown my sorrows. Why don’t you accompany me for a glass or two more?”

 

I couldn’t refuse her. I picked up the wine glass and downed it in one go.

 

After three rounds, I was completely fine, but Cecilia’s face was completely flushed. She was swaying left and right on her seat looking like she could fall at any moment. I knew that she was drunk.

 

“My dear James, let’s continue. We’re getting completely drunk tonight.” Cecilia was already ranting incoherently, but she still picked up the wine bottle, trying to pour herself another cup.

 

I hurriedly reached out to stop her, grabbing her small and slender hand with one hand, and snatching the wine bottle with the other.

 

“Mrs. Hart, I think you’ve had enough now. If you drink anymore, you’ll be really drunk.”
