The silence broke into an eruption of mocking laughter.

“Unbelievable!” one of the family members sneered, “A blind man, here to heal the blind? This has to be a new level of desperation!”.

Fiona rolled her eyes, throwing her hands up. “What a waste of time. He’s probably just here to swindle us, like the rest of those frauds!”.

"If you can treat blindness, then why are you blind!". Mr. Randall asked.

"it in different cause", Zaiden simply said.

Mrs. Hailey glared at the security guard, seething. “God, making excuses and you brought him in here? What kind of fool are you to believe him?”.

The guard, flustered, stumbled over his words. “I… I didn’t realize he was blind. But he… he knew things about me. I swear, he’s… there’s something about him—”.

Fiona scoffed. “Oh, really? Knew things? Like what".

Zaiden took a deep breath, focusing his attention on Fiona. He spoke calmly,. “Like how you did an abortion this morning. you took the Ashlin pill!".

Fiona froze, her face draining of color. A stunned gasp spread around the room.

Mr. Randall’s eyes narrowed, his voice low and dangerous. “abortion? is that truth”

Fiona’s hands trembled as she stammered, “H-how… how could you possibly know that?”.

Zaiden didn’t flinch. “I could tell by your labored breathing. and the rhythm you speak!".

Mr. Randall clenched his fists, “You did an abortion without telling me!".

Zaiden turned to Mr. Randall. “And how you have been fighting lung disease. and not telling anyone. your breathing and numerous posture changing tell me.”

The room fell silent once again. Mr. Randall’s face turned ashen. His family looked at him in shock, unaware of his condition. He hadn’t told a soul.

“How…?” he managed, his voice trembling.

Before he could continue, Mrs. Hailey raised a hand, cutting him off. “Enough. This… this is enough to prove you know things beyond what we could have imagined.” She took a steadying breath, regaining her composure. “If you say you can help my daughter, then… then I will give you a chance. and you will get the reward and even get to marry her”.

Fiona hualed, "You can't trust him, what if someone tell him all this!".

Mr. Randall raised up his head, "Let give him a chance, since we have gave many people chances also".

"He is con artist, I swear... he is lying!, he is even too Young to know anything", Dustin said.

Mrs. Hailey didn't even listen as she took his hand and walked him to her daughter room.

As they entered the dimly lit room, Cynthia’s voice came through, weary and sharp. “Mother? Is that you?”.

“Yes, dear,” Mrs. Hailey replied, reaching out to hug her daughter. Cynthia stiffened as she sensed someone else in the room.

“Who’s here?” she demanded, her tone wary.

“A doctor,” Mrs. Hailey said, glancing back at Zaiden. “He’s here to help you.”

Cynthia let out a bitter laugh. “Another swindler, another failure. I’ve had enough of these so-called miracle doctors, I don’t want him.”

Mrs. Hailey’s expression tightened. “This one is different. He’s good, Cynthia. He has already proven himself.”

“Proven himself?” Cynthia scoffed, disbelief dripping from her words. “No one can cure blindness. Not the best doctors, not anyone!”.

“Just… give him a chance,” Mrs. Hailey insisted.

Cynthia sighed heavily, crossing her arms. “And what did he prove? That he can talk his way in?”.

Mrs. Hailey hesitated, then slipped. “This… blind man is talented. He saw things none of us knew.”

Cynthia froze. “Wait… blind? He’s blind?”

mrs. Hailey bit her lips, “Yes, but—”

“A blind man to treat a blind woman? This has to be some twisted joke!” Cynthia barked, her voice laced with frustration. “Are you mocking me, Mother?”

Mrs. Hailey shook her head firmly. “No, Cynthia. I’m not mocking you. He’s here because he has a gift. A gift you need right now.”

“A blind healer?” Cynthia laughed bitterly. “This is insanity.”

Zaiden finally spoke, his voice calm yet unyielding. “I understand your doubts, Miss Cynthia. But I wouldn’t be here if I couldn’t help.”

“You’re blind,” she said flatly. “How on earth are you supposed to help me?”

Zaiden’s tone didn’t waver. “Blindness doesn’t stop me from knowing what I do. I can sense what others overlook. Give me thirty minutes.”

Cynthia scoffed, "What can blind man do, stop lying, I will give you 2 million dollars, so just leave".

"I am here, really to treat you", He said.

Her mom soothed her as she patted her, "You have been through this many times, just go on with this also, and I vouch that this man is a high probability!".

She sniffled, and reluctantly stated, "Oh... okay, but you have to stay in the room with me".

Zaiden chimed in, "Nope, my treatment carry high intensity, and a normal person can go blind!".

Cynthia cried out loud, "Look at him, he is making excuses!, I am sure he is not blind, this is a freak man!, he wants to take advantage of me".

Her mom faced Zaiden, "Are you really saying the truth".

"Yeah, you can set up camera and you will be watching, only you, because it will be sensitive for others to watch", he said.

"okay, I will go out", She said.

"No, mom, I swear this man is lying, he is not blind and cannot treat". Cynthia hauled.

Mrs. Hailey said, "I am going out now, please daughter, just go on with this... I beg of you, you will come out fine".

"mom", she mumbled before Mrs. Hailey left the room.

leaving her and Zaiden in the room.

"Off your clothes", Zaiden begin.

Cynthia then spoke, her voice firm yet calm. “You should all thank Zaiden instead. He made this possible by pushing me by believing in me when no one else did.” Mr. Randall frowned, his sharp eyes locking onto hers. “Zaiden did nothing, Cynthia. You did it all. You’ve proven your worth, not him.” Mrs. Hailey, always critical, added with a scoff, “Why lean your success on another person? Own it, Cynthia. You deserve the credit.” Zaiden, unfazed, leaned on his cane and smiled faintly. “Anyway,” he began, his voice steady, “what about what was promised? The 300 million dollars and allowing me to stay with Cynthia?” Mr. Randall sighed, rubbing his temples. “We’ve already decided to allow you to stay, Zaiden. As for the 300 million dollars, it will happen after Cynthia meets with the board and signs the documents officially.” Cynthia’s gaze hardened. “I’ve already done what you wanted,” she said, her tone rising slightly. “I lifted the percentage by an additional 30%.
