Chapter 31

Jasper braced himself for the onslaught of the clan’s attack. He knew he was much faster than them and he was stronger. Deep within him was the power of the wolf that no matter what shape or form he was in would always give him an advantage. He always knew he was better than the others of his kind no matter what creature he turned into, and he now realized it was because of his family’s blood. He promised himself he would try to not kill them, only incapacitate them.

The leader of the clan who spoke to Jasper before was the first to attack. Jasper braced himself and just as the other vampire reached him, he pushed his hands out in front of him and sent the man flying into a nearby tree. You could here the tree tremble with the impact of the vampires body along with snapping of at least three of his bones.
