Chapter 106. Badmouthing

Mirabel was dumbfounded.

She didn't believe that Zachary would ask her such a question. What has the fight got to do with escorting him for a dinner party? It could only affect it if she was seriously injured. Fortunately, she had no scratch on her body.

The only slap that Emily gave to her was no longer hurting. Moreover, it didn't leave any mark on her face.

"Zach. You don't have to worry about that. I've already made you a promise and will do all I can to keep it." Mirabel assured him.

Zachary was a little embarrassed.
