Chapter 109. A Good Job

The two turned around to the sight of the old Mr Nathan striding towards them. As the man marched towards them, he missed a step and nearly fell on the floor but was fast enough to hold onto the nearest sofa.

"Grandpa, you should be careful so as not to slip and fall on the ground. You're not strong enough so you have to let the nurse help you." Zachary ran over to help his grandfather but he stopped him.

"I'm fine, My feet can still carry me. You don't have to worry yourself."

Mirabel, who saw what happened, stood up and walked over to help Nathan and he allowed her to hold him to Zachary's astonishment.

"Really grandpa? You shove me aside and then let her hold you." Zachary lamented and Nathan only smiled at him.

Mirabel stuck her tongue out to mock Zachary who playfully glared at her. He was no longer angry about her showing up uninvited.
