The prom was coming up in just a few days. I needed to get ready. I had planned to bring Olivia to see Mrs Tracy after the prom was over.

I was going to introduce her as my girlfriend. It was meant to be a surprise though. Mrs Tracy had been asking me questions about my face of course.

The bruises.

The sprains.

And of course the midnight growls. The system has been helpful. It sometimes heals me up but not all the time. I remembered my level yet again.

If only I knew what it meant. I was still not familiar with the system. I can only pray that Eliot gets me what I asked of him. In the meantime, I was leaving the dreams of my life.

I even got myself a new car which still baffles Mrs Tracy. I knew she was slowly getting attached to me but then she was not my mother.

I could see that she doesn't want to butt into my private life and I really appreciate it.

Her cafe shop was slowly growing with lots of customers trooping in every day.
