After the terrifying war that happened twenty years ago in the lower dimension, the entire dimension has returned to it's usual state but the numerous forces in the lower dimension were not calm !. All of them taking actions will prolong the war and make the plot stretchy. And many of the popular saints are commanders of many fortresses and they won't attack easily.
The core of the formations are indeed in the 3rd and 7th fortress but each war fortress have formation nodes that maintains the war barrier of each fortress. If the formation nodes in the 3rd fortress is regarded as major nodes then other fortresses have minor nodes.
Because of the plot progression , some characters were specifically selected.
I have never mixed things up based on 12 great generals. Under the war god that have 12 stripes , the great generals numbered 12 and they have 6 stripes.
the reason years change is because time also pass in the origin world. it's roughly remaining 80 years since the martial lord saw the dragon.
sorry for your confusion. The dragon gave the martial lord 100 years before they will be forcefully ascended to the first sky if they were still within the origin world. Note that only demigods will be forced to ascend. they can escape this forceful Ascension if they leave the origin world.
Shouldn't the Martial lord be over 35/40yrs now? As far as i remember, he was 23 when he became a lord.

I expected to see people like the first saint, several popular saints, popular martial gods like Elvis, Derek, Jim and dean take action...also the martial supreme and martial guards and some star kings like nova and zaken. Perhaps i am impatient! :)

And the formation nodes were in the 3rd and 7th fortress under Alice and Nova.. Your book maybe a blockbuster, but it won't be long if these inconsistencies continue.
And in such a war, you are only introducing few powerhouses...I had expected to see all the saints, martial gods and Star kings battle the devourers.. Anyway, it is your book!
Sometimes i get confused whether they are 12 great commanders or 6 and also do they have 6/12 stripes? This is very confusing when you mix things up..You really lack consistency in your book. Also, technique names changing like Tian, compare the beginning and now..
You know I have read your book several times and I will critique it; 1. Lack of consistency You keep changing several things like how you said that the laws of the origin world will change...somewhere you say the laws will change after 50yrs, 80yrs and 100yrs..so which is which?
Come on!!! It is the 2nd fortress not 3rd...it is confusing when you mix things up!
