The screams of hajun's name, the picture of a bloody hajun and a child whimpering in his embrace were the only things I registered as I turned around in a haste.

Stunned, I momentarily forgot to move as I continued to watch the scene. In the midst of all that, one of the many bodyguards I put to watch over the reopening of the orphanage came up to me, to explain what just happened.

“Just as you suspected, an assassin was found in the midst of the crowd. We tried to search for them as covertly as possible but we did not notice until hajun came on stage to make his speech.We noticed the moment the assailant brought out a gun and tried to engage, we had managed to knock him over but he had already taken a shot resulting in what we see now”

“Is the assailant in custody?” I said with a steady voice.

“They escaped in the commotion” he said with a quiet voice as he looked pointedly to the ground.

Dohyun sat by his center table and looked across the room to stare at the mirror. Hours passed and he continued to do the same thing. Ever since he had been confined to his room he had done nothing but stare, think, process, wait, and count down the minutes before something happened.“Search his room” hajun ordered and seven body guards walked in and began to take the room apart. One flipped the bed over, another began to tap the walls to see if there was a hollow space someone could shove a second phone or device, another checked his dresser and another even went as far as to check his trash to find something incriminating and while all these was going on, hajun stared at dohyun while dohyun tried his best to fix his gaze on the ground.“Sir, we found this on his dresser” said the leader of this small mission, handing over a small bottle to hajun.“You have worked hard. You and your men can leave now” he said, causing the man to bow. The head of the little mission proceeded to repeat
Chapter 30
Third person’s POVThe full moon hung brightly outside a two story building. As usual its light slipped into the room and created shadows in the already dark room. Incessant beeping began to wake the lone occupant of the room who turned around as if to turn it off only to meet with a cool black surface. In shock the lone occupant opened their eyes to stare at the empty space that is supposed to hold an alarm clock. Noticing something was off, the lone occupant got up slowly, alert and processing what to do next. Following the beeping the lone occupant crept towards the rouge alarm clock which was situated in the middle of the room. On closer inspection drops of blood could be found on its surface but when the lone occupant looked around him there were no traces of blood whatsoever. Flabbergasted the lone occupant continued to stare at the alarm clock hoping trying to discern the angle of the blood stains only to notice movement at the corner of their eyes turning around to verify what

Third person's P.O.V.It was late at night at the police station, work was slow and everyone was trying to finish the little bit if work they had do that they can finally be able to go home. It was going well until the power went out, causing the officers to let out collective groans.“Hey newbie” said the head of the violent crimes department.“Go turn it back on”“Yes sir” the young officer said rushing out of the building, not noticing that the door was slightly ajar.“What’s taking him so long? Doesn’t he know how to turn it on.”“That’s what you get for hiring a green one like him” another officer said causing the rest of the cops to burst into laughter.The lights finally came on and everyone went back to work not noticing the two new faces walking straight into the interrogation room.The door to the interrogation room opened slightly as the two men slipped in. Gwang Il pyo’s P.O.V“Ah! Before I forget, let me just put this back” he said before putting my jaw in it’s original place.“Do your people know how cruel you are. I bet if they did, you would have no one by your side” I said as I whimpered in pain.“I hear talking but I don’t hear anything about the location, maybe your mind needs a little refreshing” he said before pulling my arm straight out of its socket causing me to scream out loud.“Shh you would bother the children” he said in a mocking tone.“Now what were we saying about the location?” he asked with a smile.“I would die before I tell a twisted person like you. What made you like this?” I said in a last ditch attempt to distract him from causing me more pain.“ I have no idea what you are talking about, I am a perfectly logical man but there are few things I care about in this world. If you think your quite gifted or talented enough to harm one of them then I promise you the devil will be the least of your problems” he said

Third person’s P.O.V.Rapid footsteps could be heard as a man tried so hard to outrun his pursuers. They were too many of them and they seemed to be increasing by the minute. Pumped up on adrenaline he didn’t notice that his leg was bleeding leading his pursuers straight to him.Hoping to lose them in an alleyway he turned a corner only to be met with eyes so empty that it looked like an abyss. The owner of those eyes wore a mask covering majority of their face except their mouth, they weren’t that tall and didn’t look all that strong but the eyes managed to keep the man on edge.“I would have love to chase you for a little while longer but time is so fleeting isn’t it?” the figure said while tilting their head.“It would have been so fun to see the despair on your face as you realized you could not escape but-" the figure stopped and looked at the sky in helplessness “priorities first I guess” the figure said blowing air out of its mouth.“Don’t worry you won’t feel a thing” the figu
