“Guest?!”

Everyone exclaimed, turning to Arthur in shock.

“T–there must have been a mistake, Mrs G.” The guard stammered, looking anxiously at Arthur then at Mrs G. “This person here was about to be thrown out for being a nuisance.”

“Yes, yes.” Olivia nodded. “He doesn't even have a ticket and shouldn't be here in the first place.”

“Perhaps you've identified the wrong person?” Jack added.

He refused to believe someone like Arthur would know a person like Mrs G, and apparently everyone though

“Guest?!”Everyone exclaimed, turning to Arthur in shock. “T–there must have been a mistake, Mrs G.” The guard stammered, looking anxiously at Arthur then at Mrs G. “This person here was about to be thrown out for being a nuisance.”“Yes, yes.” Olivia nodded. “He doesn't even have a ticket and shouldn't be here in the first place.”“Perhaps you've identified the wrong person?” Jack added. He refused to believe someone like Arthur would know a person like Mrs G, and apparently everyone thought the same. “Yeah, how can a person like him know Mrs G?”“He's a poser! I bet he knew Mrs G was coming so he is only trying to fool her to get in.” Another said with righteous conviction.“What are the security still doing standing? They should throw him out immediately!” A young lady shouted, hinting at the security men, Ray in particular. However, Ray was silent, looking at Arthur with an unreadable look in his eyes. “Mrs G…” the guard called again, hesitant. Throughout, Mrs G hadn't said

“Don't think you can lie to us punk.” Another guard came up, looking at Arthur in disdain. “Do you think this is a magic show where you can magically pull one out? You better get out while we are still being gentle with you.”Jack snorted right after, waving his ticket. “Did you hear? Leave while they are still gentle with you.”“Seriously, who does he think he is, holding everyone up?” Oliva mumbled, her disgust dripping with each word. “A poor guy pretending to be rich.”“I bet he rented that suit he's wearing to impress someone.” “Anyone who falls for such a cheap trick is loose in the head.” Another taunted, earning a round of laughter.Arthur narrowed his eyes dangerously at Jack. A cold glint in his eyes. Meeting Arthur's gaze head on, Jack flinched, his heart skipping a beat. However, feeling Ray beside him, Jack quickly shook it off. ‘How dare this bastard look at me like that?’ He thought, his face turning red from shame and anger. “Throw him out already Ray!” Jack shou

When Arthur pulled up to the event, the place was filled with crowds, one that could easily drown a person. A faint frown rested on his brows. He didn't think the place would be this full. Nevertheless, his car quickly attracted the attention of the crowd. “Oh my gosh, who is that?” “I bet it's another celebrity.” “Who is it? This car is so expensive.” … The crowd craned their necks eagarly speculating when Arthur came down. "Who is this?" "He looks so handsome. I bet he's a new star." "Does he have a girlfriend?" The girls in the crowd gushed as they spotted Arthur. Although the crowd was excited, Arthur was unfazed by it. He stood with an expressionless face, before he finally moved, inciting the girls in the crowd. Ray, a bouncer at the front scoffed, irritated with the girls noise. "Who's the punk?" He spat at his colleague Luis who cast a glance at Arthur, unsure. Most celebrity had already come, so Arthur's entrance had thrown them all off. At Luis

“It's about to start!”“Bea has to win!”“Go Bea~ Go!”…The energy for the night was strong. This was the first award show the platform was hosting, and against two major streamers, the place was buzzing with activity.Although it was known who the winner was, the event had to be dragged on for hours into the night, further heightening Wanda's anger. “When is that bastard coming?” Wanda hissed, gripping the cup in her hand like a vice.Beside her, her brother Gary was equally mad as well. They had planned to sabotage tonight's show, but the man they had paid hadn't arrived yet, and worse it was nearing the real award show. “Calm down sis, I am sure he will be here soon.” Gary tried calming her, but he couldn't help looking at his phone too. “Well he better be.” Wanda spat, looking in Beatrice's direction, her eyes gleaming in hate. “I can't sit and have my money wasted. We've already lost so much.” Their debts were now piled to the brim, and their creditors were already calling.

Arthur stared at Beatrice’s message, his brows narrowing almost imperceptibly. The tone was unfamiliar, slightly provocative, a stark departure from the casual texts they usually exchanged. He didn’t respond. For a moment, he let the phone sit in his hand, analyzing the words, the implications. He slipped the device into his pocket, deliberately severing the conversation before it could influence his next move. Focus was necessary, restraint mandatory. Anything else could compromise the order he’d built. Mason’s words echoed in his mind as he descended the stairs. Check the land first. The system’s instructions were clear, priority overriding everything else. The award show was secondary; it could wait. Arthur mentally scheduled the inspection, calculating the time it would take and how he could still honor his promise to attend later. Hamas and Cherry would remain inside, under supervision, while he addressed the more pressing matter. Hamas walked beside Cherry down the mans

Arthur had just taken a step forward when the voice rang out behind him.“Master!”Hamas’ voice was sharp, trembling, filled with something raw and burning.Arthur stopped. He turned slowly and locked eyes with the boy.Hamas stood straight, fists clenched at his sides, chest rising and falling rapidly. His gaze was no longer that of a street kid brimming with anger and desperation. It was focused. Determined. Almost reverent.“Sir,” Hamas said, then suddenly bent at the waist, bowing deeply. “I want to be like you. Teach me to be like you.”Cherry froze. Her small hands tightened around the hem of her dress as she stared at her brother, confused by his sudden action. She had never seen Hamas bow to anyone. Never seen him lower his head like this.Only now did Hamas truly see. From the estate, to the mansion. The guards who moved without noise. The calm authority that clung to Arthur without effort.Arthur wasn’t simple. He was a martial artist—one who moved with lethal control. He wa
