"So that's the story," said David, who had just finished telling us what had happened in the past. "I'm sorry I had to stay away from you. I'm really sorry that I couldn't be a parent to protect you. Instead of saving Xania, I was too late."

It seemed that hearing his father's confession made Xavier even more determined to avenge those people. "Father, I swear I will make them regret destroying our family. But I'm glad to finally meet you and be reunited with you. Where's Mum? Will I be able to see her too?"

"Your mother is at our main house, there will be time for you to go there. Father will give you our home address. We've been hiding there all this time, waiting for you to return," David said, getting a nod from Xavier.

"Then, now that I'm here, I'll continue your duties as Commander-in-Chief, but on one condition, Father," Xavier's speech was cut short as he paused.

"What is that?" David's eyebrows were half raised.

"I don't want to show everyone my true identity until a certain time. I need to find out who was involved in my sister's suicide. I'm sure Xania wouldn't have harmed herself unless someone forced her to kill herself or pushed her from above?" explained Xavier as he looked deeply into David's eyes.

"All right, I trust you. Whatever your plans, I'll always have your back. I've never shown my true self to anyone before. After your mother found out, she agreed with my decision."

"I want to organise a lavish wedding for Savana," said Xavier, who David must have told Leo about.

"Just do it, I've heard all about it." David smiled broadly. "What about Joseph? He doesn't even know I'm alive."

"Joseph was very kind to me because he probably still values your friendship." Xavier also smiled at David, just wanting to convey Joseph's good impression without letting him know that Joseph wanted him to prove he was worthy of being his son-in-law? Of course that would upset David. Actually, it was only natural that Joseph wanted the best for Savana, since he himself had been away from Savana for a long time.

"Thank God. You can concentrate on preparing your wedding party first, and when that's done, you can go to your mother." David handed her a small piece of paper with an address written on it. It was a very luxurious house, close to a residential hill of high class people. And it turned out to be owned by David's family.

"So you're really the son of a wealthy family?" chirped Xavier.

"Yes, when I was a child I lived in an orphanage because they left me there. They hid me there. Because you were the main heir and my parents were also honourable Gods of War in their time. So you became his successor. And marrying your mother is a gift I'm very proud of. I wanted to take Xania away from there for a long time, but at that time we still had a lot to do, so when the time was right, Xania left us. I'm really sorry that I didn't take Xania to your mother's sooner. That's why I came to see you, because I didn't want to lose you."

"All right, tell Mummy about my longing. I'm sorry I have to go home soon, Savana will be looking for me. On the fifteenth, if Mum and Dad can make it, you -" Xavier hadn't finished his sentence before David suddenly interrupted him.

"No, Xavier, we can't come. There will be a lot of attention, we have to see the situation first. Because you said you wanted to know how Xania died, right? We still have to hide our identity."

"Ah, that's right, isn't it? Well, thank you for reminding me."

"Go home, if you need anything, call Father immediately. Leo will send you my number." David got up from his seat, then walked over to his safe, which stored valuables with a very strong security system. After entering his password, David took out a black card with a silver design. He then closed the safe before approaching Xavier.

"Xavier, I know how hard you've been working. When you come back, even if you don't want to attract everyone's attention, at least bring this." David took Xavier's hand and placed the card in his palm.

"Number one black gold bank card? Father, are you really going to give that to me?" Xavier was stunned. He knew he could have anything, power, wealth, even the ultimate pride. But Xavier would rather live a simple life like on the West Coast with his friends.

"Yes, you can use it for anything. Even to protect your wife. It's so much money, it won't run out."

Xavier stared at the bank card before standing up straight and raising his hands in a sign of respect. "Ready Dad, do it!" Xavier quickly excused himself to go home, finishing his meeting with David, even though he really wanted to stay, as they had been separated for quite some time.

After Xavier's departure, David, who was standing, looked towards the exit as he broke into a smile. "My nature is very much like yours, I'm sure you'll be braver than me, Xavier."

Downstairs, Xavier was immediately met by Leo, who had his car ready, knowing that Xavier would be coming down soon. Without wasting any time, Xavier got into the car and sat down next to Leo. He had not forgotten the Black Gold card in his wallet. He couldn't take his wallet out without thinking. He also kept his mother's home address with the black gold card.

"Boss, you finally got it." Leo smiled happily when he saw it.

"I won't use it. I'll just keep it and use it when I'm not in front of many people I know."

"Yes, I know that boss."

"Leo, I don't want to know how you're going to prepare my wedding party with Savana, I need to see Savana really happy. I also don't want to know what our wedding rings will look like, you must take good care of everything and don't let me down. Especially keep it a secret from anyone before the fifteenth. If anyone finds out, I will not hesitate to punish you by breaking your bones." Xavier reminded Leo again that he had to do his best for his wife, so as not to be shamed by his extended family. Xavier also had to show some of his skills in front of the Smith family.

"Boss, take it easy, everything is already in the works. But if I may ask, why do you want to throw a lavish party and invite the curiosity of others? What will you say when they ask? Even though you don't want to show your identity to your boss, have you thought about telling them who you really are?"

"No! I've thought about it all. They asked about me once and I told them I was the God of War. But they didn't believe me, as if they thought it was a joke. So I don't care anymore."

"Hahaha, your boss really doesn't know anything about the army on the West Coast. Especially when you said you were the leader of the Zodiac Warriors, since we're different from the soldiers fighting in the north."

The two chatted as they drove, and when they were near his wife's house, Xavier asked to be dropped off.

"Take care, boss, call me if you need me. I'll give you the schedule for the meeting to welcome the Commander-in-Chief. But before you refuse to appear in front of many people, I am ready to be your deputy boss."

"Yes, you're already clever and understand what I need, Leo. Be careful with you too. Let me know when all the Zodiac Warriors have gathered, we'll have a little party somewhere, eat and drink like we did on the West Coast." Xavier quickly opened his car door, then gave Leo a quick look before closing it completely.

Xavier walked a bit to get home, just as Savana opened the door for him.

"Dad's looking for you, I think you're going to get some questions about your behaviour at the family banquet." Savana whispered as she walked past Xavier's side before they arrived in the living room where Savana's parents were relaxing.

Joseph, noticing Xavier's presence, immediately gave his son-in-law a sharp look as he said something. "Xavier, are you home? Where have you been? Why did you let Savana go home alone?"

"Mum, I want to take Emily to her house!" exclaimed Sean, who was getting ready early in the morning."What? It's very early Sean, Emily must still be asleep." Savana, who had just opened the door to her room because of Sean's buzzing, was surprised to see her son already neatly dressed in his uniform and smelling good. "It's OK Mum, I'll wait for him. Come on Mum, get ready to drive me to Emily's house. If I could only drive, I would definitely pick her up myself," Sean said, causing Savana to shake her head in surprise at her son."All right, just wait. We also need to have breakfast before we go."
