Why is it so? Because their smell is all over the place so much that I can’t tell where I’m heading, tracking. It’s no different wandering in here. And Iya. They seem to be moving in a pattern, in a peculiar direction for a while now. And I can’t dedicate time to finding my way out without running into monsters, if not, probably end up lost, since I have no clue where to look. Will think of what to do after I deal with these scorpions closing in. The stingers on them are the most annoying, having to handle their pincers and then they attack with it. I just have to pay extra attention to them, cut them, deflect or distance myself if I can’t, keep them from so much as scratching the elf or me. It’d kill her, but only slow me down which would make it easier for them getting to her. Don’t let them circle around me. They had been since the begin, so I should instead escape the encirclement and prevent any from closing in from behind. Their bodies are tough. To cut through takes a lo
… After a long climb the reach the top. The sun had set only the orange glow remain, slowly dimming. "We should make camp here." The blond hair companion said. "… No, just the rest is okay, we should move deeper in." Lira rejected. "You can go on, right?" She directed at Allora. "Yes, I've got lots of stamina to spare." "Fine by me…" The blond young man accepted. "I was trying to be a bit considerate since you're girls. Guess there wasn't the need to you two pretty much handle yourself well," His companion said. "as well as many others. Time really have changed. I forgot about that." He muttered to himself. "Then we rest for an hour then move on." … When they finally settled for the day it was long deep into the night. As the dark sky was slowly swept away by the dull blue the party was already up and moving… "Looks like we have company. From behind." The blonde young man suddenly spoke. They all stop and turned. "You…" The blond young man's companion voiced. A few meters
The concrete chips crunched under a pair of boots that trudged.Somewhere on the sands, where where only what seemed to be once walls stood, now lay to the sandy floor as chips and blocks. The person slowly moved through the rubble. At the corner of his eyes he spotted a figure leaning on a slab her head dropped.“To think I’d find someone out here…” He drew closer. “A dead hunter.”They took a knee to her side looking at the wounds on the corpse(?), blood soaked into the sand.“Doesn’t seem to be from a monster… Bandits? No. They would have taken everything on her. It would be a miracle her corpse was left unsullied.Infighting, huh. She looks pretty dead, but, just to be certain…”Reaching their right hand to their back they grabbed a short weird stick and with the left placed it to the corpse’s neck.“… I was right… Just barely alive. Sure is tenacious.” He took his hand of her and the weird stick, looking around.“Was she abandoned and left for dead? But what would they be doing ou
As Nate spoke to the two ‘goddesses’. On the other side.Everything around her felt tranquil. She saw darkness from her eyes being closed, feeling everything around her…The Seer tried opening her eyes but she could no, no matter how many times she tried. Her body itself not responding. Even so, instead of panicking she felt calm…The gentle breeze that caressed her skin and the faint warmth from the high up sun, like it had just risen. The smell the breeze carried, one she hadn’t experienced before. There was no tension which was brought by the world. She felt at ease. She felt like in a dream state. While basking in the feeling she finally felt the warmth which came from behind her, over her shoulders and resting on her belly, and the softness which seem to calm the world itself. Her eyes, now in her control opened to a bright world, like a dreamscape. The sun was high above. It heat that should have come from it was warm instead of the usual harsh. Fluffy white cloud splashed and dr
“How long do you plan on slumbering? Wake!”Feeling the full weight of the childish voice the eyes of the faceless black figure jolted opened. In his immediate sight blackness.Taking his hand out to the opposite side turning himself he lifted his back off the floor and was on all four.Slowly he stood himself up.When he looked up at who was before him; Angled to one side. Leg crossed over the other. One arm flat on the armrest, the other’s elbow to it and a fist side of his jaw, it was none other than the white haired, blackened sclera and reddish pupil, kid sitting on his seat looking down on him.Just looking at him the dark figure felt a weight bear on him, and with a word:"Kneel"He was forced down to his knees, his previous posture unable to move. He was unfamiliar with who this kid was but he knew very well what could emit should power. A chaos kid. A God to their kind."To think a mere demon who just rose up through the ranks would compare himself a Chaos King…”“Who… are… y
The heavens. You know, the place where all good souls end up. Elysium; Atziluth. It’s a place ever so beautiful, a place that surpasses human imagination. There it stood, in all its glory, the Pearl Gates. Nothing is par to its elegances and size. Firmly in place between two walls which stretch on, out of sight on both sides. The walls stood about a quarter above the size of the gates, bejeweled with carvings of unearthly proportions. Just above where the gates curve to meet, below the wall had a gigantic sculpture which was of the heads of the heavenly beasts with rows of wings. The colossal structure shook the ground as it opened. A bright blinding light slipped through the gap growing bigger and brighter as it opened.Behind the walls, was a city decorated by intricate architectural designs of buildings with streets of gold cleverly woven between the clusters of buildings. The rooftops reflected the bright blue of daylight as a new day began for the ‘Heavenites’.A sight to beho
Even before this new world came to be:God and the other gods had already abandoned it. How can someone who calls themselves gods sit idle whiles this amount of devastation befall those those claimed to love.Truth be told I always had a hard time believing that they existed, if not for what I had been through and what I know.I’d like to say ‘it’s good to see you all again’ but with what had happened to me, to this world I don’t think it can be said. That said, if you’ve forgotten ,the name is Yaw H. Thompson.Currently, I’m in my dark green with small crossed white stripes on the right of my shirt stretched to the left, unbuttoned and a dark blue inner long sleeved t-shirt tightly clinging to my arms and it’s pulled up on the right to elbow length. I have a mitt over my left hand and bandage wrapped around right hand to just below the elbow for no reasons other than battle. Also just in you normal black trousers and boots. There’s a bag behind my back hidden under a cloak. The wind
What in father’s name happened here…? Gaea. What did this?I can’t tell what exactly tell what this place is supposed to look like. It’s my first time here on Gaea—as a matter of fact anywhere in the mortal world if not for only wars with ‘them’—but from Yo’shua’s memories it shouldn’t be like this.Shouldn’t there be trees, oceans or something in close proximity? I do remember a place like this from what I saw. But from what I saw from above there’s naught of that sorts. It seemed to stretch on.This is not the same place I remember seeing. Something also lingers, a faint power that feels similar like the one I felt before coming here.So this was the outcome? I felt some indescribable surge of power explode from somewhere within this mortal plane when on my journey here. That must have been what had made here like this.Although this wasn’t my destination, though it felt like it was. I never had a destination to begin with. I was just hoping on ending up anyway and taking it from th
