"I thought it would be nice to welcome a clown to the party, right?" Lucy giggled while everyone burst into laughter.

"That's too cruel Lucy. But seriously, I'm glad that he left though, and you guys should also be glad. If he stayed here any longer, the place would smell like garlic and vinegar!"

Upon hearing that, everyone bursts into another laughing spree while holding their stomachs, as they couldn't take any more “Fatty Sett jokes”.

However, on the other side of the door. Sett was still standing there, listening to their whole conversation.

"I thought you weren’t like the rest of them, Lucy." Sett let out a heavy sigh of disappointment. “I guess I was wrong.” he added as he started to walk towards the exit.

Lucy was a female friend of his in senior high. She had always defended him against Antonio and the others who were bullying him. But little did Sett know, that unfortunately, people change. He couldn't even recognize her gentle characteristics anymore after what happened.

It was best to go home, rather than staying here and let them shower him with insults. He reached the establishment’s exit with a heavy heart.

"Leaving early are we? Let me guess, your group must have kicked you out, didn’t they? Heh, you didn't even realize that you were already being set up by that guy earlier. Stupid fat kid." The bouncer mockingly said, with obvious contempt in his eyes. He could immediately tell that the kid was brought here to be the laughing stock of the group. He had seen similar occasions. Anyway, a broke customer wouldn't really add any revenue to the bar, and he wouldn't care less if this fat kid died in some dark alley near the establishment.

Sett hung his head down. He was so disappointed that he didn't even realize that he had ignored the ringing coming from his phone.

Suddenly, Vroom!

All the hookers and bystanders outside were taken aback when they saw a luxurious black Rolls-Royce approaching the establishment.

It wasn't a common sight to see. After all, those cars were worth at least a million dollars!

But the real question is, who was the important person that the cars were escorting? The bouncers looked at each other, as one of them reported it to the bar's manager via walkie-talkie.

At this time, the cars came to a grinding halt. As the car doors were flung open, fifty foreigners in black suits and sunglasses got out of the car bringing an intimidating aura with them.

They secured the parameters like highly trained soldiers while scanning the group of people from the ever-busy red light streets.

Their appearance was particularly eye-catching to the point that even the ones partying inside came outside the moment they noticed the commotion.

The bouncers brought their manager to greet the men in black suits, with big smiles plastered on their faces. They wanted to know who the big shot was. That the men in black suits were going to meet.

"Get it out of the way, tubby." The manager scolded and shoved Sett away, who was blankly staring ahead like an idiot.

"Hello gentlemen, I am the manager of this bar, allow me to welco--" The manager felt exhilarated while giving his hand out for a handshake as he stood in front of one of the men in black suits.

However, his smile stiffened instead, and his hand was left hanging, as the men in black ignored him completely.

The men in black suits came forward and lined up in front of Sett, who was prowling on the ground. The men in black suits bent their bodies a hundred and ninety degrees.

"Mr. Crow." Their deep and powerful voices synchronized as they spoke in unison. It was quite impressive as their voices echoed in the air.

"Mr. Crow, please come inside. The president is waiting for you." A man who seemed to be the leader of the group stepped forward and respectfully announced.

Just then, Sett was assisted back on his feet, and was led inside the vehicle before he could react.

On the other hand, the speculating crowd was baffled and also amazed. Sett's classmate who also came on the scene just in time to see Sett being greeted in a grand manner was flabbergasted.

"That young man is most likely an heir. He had so many bodyguards, and they were not ordinary guards. And look at those luxurious cars, how envious." A man of respectable stature asserted himself amid the crowds of gossipers.

"W-Was that Fatty? No, I mean, was that Sett?!" Antonio gulped as he saw the Rolls Royce drive away.

"T-That's.... Impossible." The tan girl gritted her teeth. She was going to investigate it later because otherwise, she wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. How could that poor pig suddenly become richer than she was? She couldn't accept that reality!

"Hmph! I think those foreigners are here to abduct him and take out his organs to sell them abroad!" Lucy said, coldly.

Although what Lucy said was cruel, some of her classmates believed it. "I think we shouldn't make fun of Sett anymore..." Anna nervously uttered.

Although the others couldn't believe what they witnessed, Lucy however, was different from the rest of them, as she understood that Sett had a connection with those men in black suits, and that connection wasn't an ordinary one, as she saw how respectful those men in black were when greeting Sett, to the point where they were bowing to him like servants.

Meanwhile, Sett, who became the center of attention at the bar, was fidgeting inside the luxurious car.

"...."

It would be a lie if he said he wasn't afraid of being abducted by this group of men, but this wasn't entirely the reason he was uncomfortable. It was because of a drop-dead gorgeous lady who was sitting right in front of him.

As he took a peek at her. He could see a deadly combination of her innocent facial features paired with a devilish body. If one were to compare her ravishing silhouette, she would surely put to shame any class A model in terms of beauty and figure. It was worth taking note that this enchantress was wearing a relatively short skirt. Forcing any kind of man inside their imagination.

At this moment, she notices Sett's subtle glances, causing her to giggle sweetly while giving Sett a ripe smile as she squeezes her thighs slightly while moving.

Gulp!

Sett swallowed his saliva. It was getting hard to suppress his excitement after the ravishing lady exposed a large portion of her long pearly legs.

Sett couldn't help but to avert his gaze to prevent any kind of misunderstanding to arise.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Mr. Crow. My name is Jane Scarlett but you can call me Scarlett." Scarlett said, while fixing her short blond hair.

  • Chapter 185: An Unexpected Surprise

Sett left the Medical Room, leaving Jessica inside. As he was walking down the hallway, he was contemplating everything that he had learned so Far. Even though he was feeling a bit at ease because he had learned so much about his real family, it was still a lot of information to take in for someone who just arrived the very same day.By the time that Sett finally got time for himself, it was already almost midnight. He decided that he should just call it a day and go to his room to rest. He walked back towards the lobby to head upstairs and finally hit the hayAs Sett was about to go up the stairs, the sound of knocking suddenly resonated across the whole lobby, there was no one there other than himself so he opened the door. • Chapter 184: The Revelation of Power

Sett raised his eyebrows in confusion as response to Jessica's statement. It was as if she was expecting that he would ask her about it then and there. She finished tidying up the equipment then grabbed a chair to sit next to Sett. Her eagerness was as if she was a child, trying to share something she just knew to her parents.“So how much do you currently know about it?” Jessica meticulously asked before sharing everything she knew to Sett.Sett was a little bit surprised and curious about how much she actually knew about. Intrigued with whatever information that she could give, he decided to lay down a brief and still non-detailed outline of everything he knew, still leaving some parts hidden for Azula’s sake.As Sett finished the information dropping, Jessica gave her a skeptical look. She had a hunch that there was some information that Sett withheld from her, which was understandable. She didn’t want to pry on whatever it was he and his aunt talked about upstairs. She knew that

“You’re joking, right?” Sett asked in bewilderment of the sudden revelation that just presented itself to him.His statement somehow managed to anger Jessica even more. She paced herself slowly towards where Sett was standing with clenched fists, ready to bust his head again. With her choosing violence as her response, Sett was forced to apologize for his statement earlier to avoid any other conflict to arise.“I should be the one to ask you that you prick!” Jessica naggingly said to Sett. “There’s no way that you’ve spent all that time at Mother Azula’s office, and not learned of the foundational rules that your house has!” she added.“I did learn a little bit about the foundational rules, but…” Sett was cutted off mid sentence.“See! But why the fuck didn’t you use that and deny Young Master Roman’s request, huh?!” Jessica furiously said.Though Sett was getting a little irritated with Jessica’s aggressive accusatio

  • Chapter 182: The Untimely Truth

“Oh, my apologies Sett! I must have been hit by the memories of old a little too strongly.” Azula said as she wiped the tears off her face. However, Sett wasn’t convinced by such reasons. Sure, you could cry when you’re hit with nostalgia, but that is out of a joyful, euphoric feeling that overwhelms you to the brink of crying. But in Azula’s case, Sett noticed that her tears weren’t a product of such positive feelings. In fact it was the total opposite. Sett sensed that, the moment he saw her eyes devoid of life. An imperfect match for her ocean blue eyes, that seemed so full of life. He thought that whatever was bothering her, seemed like a burden that was still weighing down his Aunt, even until now.“Are you sure you’re alright Aunty?” Sett asks, deeply in concern for what Azula is feeling.Azula just looked at Sett with heavy laden eyes. She wanted to tell him about what really happened to his dad. However, it was still too early for him to know the truth. If he’d learn about it
