Sophia stood in front of the empty casket, surrounded by the members of the Blade in Shadows, the secret organization that Jackson had led.

She felt their eyes on her, some with pity, some with curiosity, some with envy.

She knew they were wondering what would be of her, it’s been three weeks since the incident on the bay.

She looked at the casket, covered with white flowers.

Jackson's body was never found, but there was no doubt that he was gone. She had lost him forever.

She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see Fernando, He had also been there for Sophia, ever since Jackson fell into the river and Sophia realized she was pregnant after he died.
