Chapter 3: Divorce
"What!" Christine exclaimed in shock. The Lord of the Empire's military force and also the next in line to the empire's throne lacks money and power and doesn't have what it takes to take care of his wife?, this is the greatest joke she has ever received in her life. " Supreme commander, that ungrateful bitch doesn't know what she is missing out on, how dare she…" "Shut up!" Felix cut Christine off with a snap. Although he was feeling heartbroken by Caroline's actions, he couldn't stand someone saying bad things about her. Felix still hoped that Caroline would realize her mistake and stop asking for a divorce. Unfortunately, a few days later, Felix's hope was dashed as Caroline continued to humiliate and pressurize him to divorce her. Unable to mend the situation, Felix had no choice but to agree to Caroline's relentless demand to get divorced. On a fateful morning, Felix and Caroline decided to go to the Victorium High Court which deals with residential marriage and divorce in the empire to get officially divorced. They took a taxi which swiftly drove towards the location of the Victorium High Court, inside the car Caroline began to mock Felix. "phew, finally I am going to set myself free from you, you this garbage, I don't even know how I got in this marriage in the first place." "You are so poor, you can't afford decent clothes not to talk of the designer clothes I used to wear before I got married to you" "you can't afford my body lotions which has led to my skin getting gruff and rough" "You can't buy decent shoes for me! Just look at the shoes I am wearing, they are cheap, worn out, and fucking old!" "What irritates me about you the most is that you can't even afford a private car. because of your poverty, I had to take public transport. Unlike my classmates and workmates, they always give me strange looks that are so unbearable." Felix kept his mouth shut and endured Caroline's mockery until they finally reached the Victorium High Court. The two of them exited the taxi and the taxi driver drove off. On entering the Victorium High Court, Felix and Caroline met up with Olivia, the registrar who was in charge of their divorce. Olivia is a woman in her early 30s with an average height, blue eyes, and velvet hair adorned in an office suit. After addressing Felix and Caroline, she placed the divorce papers on the table and requested for the two to sign. Felix sighed before saying in a calm tone. "Caroline, look I know it has been hard for you living with me but can you please reconsider your decision to divorce me?" " Are you certain about this divorce ma'am? you can still give it a second thought" Olivia said." I have seen a lot of divorcees regretting getting a divorce, so I will advise you to postpone it so you ponder over if you should go ahead with the divorce or not" Olivia further advised. "Caroline, I promise that if you change your decision I will give you the greatest shock in your life, all your wishes will come true and you will be happy" Felix added. Unfortunately, Caroline totally ignored Felix and Olivia, acting as if she hadn't heard anything from either him or her as she swiftly brought out a pen and signed the divorce papers. Upon seeing this, Felix could only reluctantly sign the divorce papers as well. After signing the papers, Caroline quickly got off her seat and immediately left the room. She acted like she was feeling disgusted staying in the same room as Felix.Latest Chapter

Chapter442 The convoy of sleek black luxury vehicles glided through the heart of the Imperial Capital, merging into the wide spirit-paved avenue that led toward the center of the Imperium’s political power the Imperial Palace. Inside the lead car, Felix leaned back slightly, observing the breathtaking city through the tinted glass. Serena and Christene sat on either side of him, their eyes alight with wonder as the magnificence of the capital unfolded around them like a living tapestry. Victor Creel, seated at the front beside the driver, spoke into a small intercom.“Your Majesty, we are approximately fifteen minutes away from the Imperial Guesthouse.” “Good,” Felix replied softly. He wanted to arrive as early as possible, settle in, study the capital’s terrain, and begin preparations. As Emperor of Victorium, his arrival would not go unnoticed once the convention began. But for now, he preferred quiet observation. The convoy continued moving toward the Imperial Palace.

Chapter441 The sun had barely risen when the Raven Hotel’s underground parking lot came alive with noise and movement. Felix’s security guards moved with military coordination, loading the carefully packed luggage into the trunks of the convoy. Several new luxury vehicles sleek refined emanating with mervelous luster could be seen. Felix had bought them specifically for the journey ahead. Inside the hotel suite, Serena was adjusting her coat while Christene zipped up the last of their bags. “Everything ready?” Felix asked as he stepped out of the bedroom. Serena nodded. “Everything.”Christene stretched her arms. “Imperial capital, here we come." They all walked down the corridor, accompanied by Victor Creel and the remaining guards, who bowed respectfully as Felix approached. Victor opened the back door of the lead car. “Your Majesty, everything is prepared.” Felix entered the vehicle, followed by Serena and Christene, then the door shut with a soft, dignified clic

Chapter440 Morning sunlight poured gently into the suite of the Raven Hotel, filtered through curtains made of soft gold-thread fabric. The calm glow illuminated Felix’s sleeping figure for only a few seconds… before his eyes opened slowly. He didn’t rise at once.Instead, he lay there for a brief moment, staring silently at the ceiling. There was no killing intent. No imminent threat. No assassins lying in wait. Just peace. But peace only lasted until responsibility returned to the mind of an emperor. Felix sat up, ran a hand through his hair, and steadied his breathing. Yesterday’s events lingered vividly: Olan and Mark screaming on the floor… The secret realm… The tournament between nations… The Myriad Empire Convention in only a few days… Everything was converging rapidly. Felix exhaled calmly. He had rested. He had prepared mentally. Now it was time to prepare physically. And to do that…He needed forces. He needed strength. He needed people he trusted with the res

Chapter439 The screams of Mark Allo and Councilman Olan eventually faded into broken sobs… then into silence. The smell of fear and blood lingered faintly in the cold, dark chamber. After the two left, Felix lowered his hand, withdrawing his Celestial level pressure entirely. The room returned to stillness. The ceiling stopped trembling. The air stabilized. Laran stated at Felix in shock the whole time, everything that happened here was too much of a sjock to him and he swore never to offend Felix. Becous the once who offended him?, Both men, once arrogant pillars of their respective nations, crawled on the floor like shattered beasts as Felix punished them. Their suits were torn, soaked in sweat. Blood dripped from their noses, their ears, the corners of their mouths. Their hands trembled violently. Their minds were completely broken. And their wills? Crushed into dust beneath Felix’s feet. They rushed out of the lighthouse, opened their car doors with trembling fing

Chapter438 The moment Felix turned his head and his face came into clear view, the entire room fell into an eerie, suffocating silence. Olan’s eyes widened so far it looked like they were about to tear open. Mark Allo’s rotund body stiffened, his chubby fingers tightening around his briefcase until the leather squeaked. Neither man spoke. Neither breathed. Neither blinked Because the face they were looking at… Was the last face they ever expected to see here. Felix. Author. The man who was supposed to be dead. The man they sent assassins to kill. The man they investigated and found nothing about… no background, no origin, no cultivation records, nothing but a name. Yet here he was.Alive. Powerful. Sitting casually on a stool like a judge waiting to pass a divine sentence. Olan’s lips trembled. Mark’s knees nearly buckled. Their minds spun wildly. How is he here How is he alive? Wasn’t he supposed to be a nobody!? Even the Dominion Association’s elite assassins didn’

Chapter437 The morning air inside the Raven Hotel was peaceful, calm, almost too quiet for the storm that was approaching. Felix had just returned to the suite when he met Serena and Christene relaxing on the couch. The moment they saw him step in, Serena smiled softly while Christene raised an eyebrow. “Back already?” Christene asked.Felix nodded and casually took a seat between them. “Young Master Alfan apologized.” Both girls blinked, then burst into laughter.Serena covered her lips elegantly, eyes sparkling. “That same Alfan who was barking like a dog in the restaurant?” Christene cackled. “Let me guess, he probably crawled on the floor this time.” Felix smirked. “Something like that.”The girls laughed even harder.Christene shook her head. “This continent keeps producing clowns. It’s starting to feel like a circus.” Serena nudged Felix lightly. “You didn’t bully him too much, right?” “I spared him,” Felix replied calmly. “Not worth the time.” Christene raised
