Draven woke up before the sun rose. The cheap motel bed felt surprisingly comfortable after everything that happened last night.

He sat up slowly and touched his face. The swelling around his eye had gone down a lot. His lip looked almost normal again. The system really worked fast on healing him.

He swung his legs over the side of the bed and checked the floating screen in his mind.

[Daily Sign-in Reward Claimed.]

[Reward: $500,000 added to balance + Basic Healing Boost.]

His total money now showed over ten and a half million dollars. Draven shook his head with a small smile.

Yesterday he worried about paying rent on time. Today he could buy a house if he wanted.

A new message popped up right after.

[New Side Mission Unlocked: Refresh Your Image.]

[Task: Buy proper clothes, a phone, and transportation that matches your new status. Spend at least $50,000 today.]

[Reward: Charm Aura upgraded to Level 2 + 1 Random Skill Point.]

Draven stood up and stretched. His body felt strong and light. The bruises from the beating almost disappeared.

He looked in the mirror and saw a different man staring back. His shoulders seemed broader. His eyes looked sharper. The delivery boy look was gone for good.

He took a quick shower, put on the new clothes he bought last night, and left the motel.

The morning air in Crestfall City felt fresh. People hurried to work on the sidewalks. Cars honked in the distance. Everything looked the same, but for Draven it felt completely new.

First stop was a big phone store in the shopping district. He walked in and headed straight for the latest models.

A young salesman in a neat shirt greeted him with a polite smile.

"Good morning, sir. Looking for anything specific?"

Draven pointed at the most expensive phone on display. "That one. Black. Give me the best plan you have."

The salesman raised his eyebrows but quickly brought out the phone and started explaining the features.

Draven listened for a minute then paid in full with a new card he set up from the system money. The total came to almost three thousand dollars. He did not blink.

As he left the store with the new phone in his hand, he felt someone watching him. A woman in her late twenties stood near the entrance.

She wore a tight business skirt and carried a coffee.

Her eyes met his and she smiled warmly before looking away.

The Charm Aura worked even better in daylight.

Draven smiled to himself. He liked this feeling.

Next he took a taxi to one of the high-end clothing stores in the central district. The kind of place where normal people like him used to only window shop. Now he walked inside like he belonged there.

A stylish female attendant approached him right away. She had long dark hair and sharp eyes that studied him carefully.

"Welcome, sir. How can I help you today?"

"I need a full new wardrobe," Draven said simply.

"Something sharp for business and casual. Show me the best you have."

She led him to the premium section. Suits, shirts, shoes, watches. Draven tried on several outfits. Each one made him look taller and more confident. He picked out three full suits, several casual outfits, leather shoes, and a nice watch that cost more than his old scooter.

The total bill reached forty-eight thousand dollars.

The attendant packed everything with care. "You look amazing in these, if I may say so. Very commanding."

Draven paid without hesitation. As he left the store with several big shopping bags, the system chimed.

[Side Mission: Refresh Your Image - Completed.]

[Reward: Charm Aura upgraded to Level 2. People will now feel stronger attraction and respect toward you.]

[1 Skill Point awarded. You can use it to upgrade any skill.]

Draven felt a warm wave pass through his body. The Charm Aura felt different now. Stronger.

He could almost sense it pulling attention toward him as he walked down the street.

He stopped at a quiet cafe to sit and think. While he drank a good cup of coffee, he opened his new phone and searched for information on Jax Harlan. The rich guy who stole Mia and had him beaten.

Jax came from a powerful family that owned several big real estate companies in Crestfall. They had money, connections, and a reputation for crushing anyone who got in their way.

Mia posted pictures with him on social media already. In one photo she wore an expensive dress and smiled like she won the lottery.

Draven scrolled through the pictures calmly. No anger burned in his chest like last night. Only cold focus. They thought they broke him. They had no idea he was just getting started.

He finished his coffee and stood up. Time for the next step.

Draven hailed another taxi and gave the driver an address on the richer side of the city. He remembered a small bank branch there that handled bigger accounts.

When he walked inside, the manager came out personally after seeing the large transfer he made earlier.

"Mr. Quill, welcome. How can we assist you today?"

Draven sat down in the comfortable office. "I want to open a premium account. And I need a reliable car. Something fast and impressive. Can you recommend a good dealer nearby?"

The manager smiled widely. "Of course, sir. We have partnerships with the best showrooms. Let me make a call."

Two hours later, Draven drove out of a luxury car dealership in a sleek black sports car. The engine purred smoothly under his hands. The total cost was one hundred and twenty thousand dollars, paid in full.

He felt the power of the car as he merged into traffic. People turned their heads to look.

The system gave another notification.

[Wealth and Status increasing. Main Mission progress: 15%. Good start, Host.]

Draven drove toward the fancy hotel from last night. Not to cause trouble yet, but to see the place in daylight with new eyes. He parked the car across the street and watched the entrance. Rich guests came and went. Valets rushed around.

Then he saw her.

Mia walked out of the hotel with Jax. She wore a new designer dress and held his arm tightly. They laughed together as they waited for their car. Jax looked proud, like he owned the world.

Draven sat still in his new car. He did not feel the pain from yesterday anymore. Only calm determination.

Mia glanced across the street for a moment. Her eyes passed over the black sports car, then moved on. She did not recognize him. Not yet.

Draven started the engine and drove away smoothly. He would let them enjoy their moment for now.

Soon enough they would see the new Draven Quill.

And when that happened, everything would change.

He headed back toward the motel to drop off his bags.

On the way, the system spoke again.

[New Opportunity Detected. A high-quality woman is nearby. Would you like to check the details?]

Draven smiled as he drove."Yes," he said quietly. "Show me."

The game had truly begun.

  • Chapter 116: Get The Thief!

5 hours later. 7pm. No one went home; the employees stayed glued to their laptops, palmtops, trackers, and all sorts of gadgets they could get their hands on to find the thief. Sade swiveled her chair towards her colleague. “Location identified. Bavan Street.” She said. They circled the point where the signal was most active. “Adam, bring your tracking pods.” Their colleague, Adam, rushed to their desk with the pods. They attached it to the signal point. Immediately another mini screen began showing codes, finding the signal location, and searching. Finally, a location address appeared on the screen. Building. 56. Bavan Street. “Copy that.” Adam unplugged the pods and took them to the location, guys. They begin logging the security cameras in the area, especially in front of the house. After codes and codes of analysis, the screen blared out. "Successful.” They began looking backward, to 5 a.m. No one passed the street except a man in a black hoodie, face covered, with nothing

Singapore DeVante Tech. “What do you mean you can’t find him?!” The tech executive roared. “I swear on my life, sir, I was tailing behind him when he passed through the corridor of the fifth floor. As I entered into the corridor after hearing him scream, he was gone.” The tech intern cried, about to shit herself. “Fuck!” The executive yelled and slammed a chair against the floor. “Where could he have gone? What do we do now? He said to his colleague. The air in the room was seamlessly tensed. The door opened, and a security guard entered. “Sir, his car is still at the car park, the underground one.” Everyone was quiet. Confused and, most unfortunately, scared. With their jobs on the line now, every one of their moves has to make sense towards getting a solution. After some minutes, the two executives walked out of the room and headed to the staff tech room. Immediately after the employees saw them approaching, they quickly ran to their seats after standing behind the wall

  • Chapter 114: The Black Eyed Monster.

“Take me to where I stay. District 7.” I tap on the driver’s shoulders. Elyndra leaned closer to me. “Is that where you stayed as a delivery boy?” “Yes,” i responsded. The ride was silent all through, giving me time to think things through. For now my tasks were precise and straightforward. Get to the Haland Empire, find Sophia, and become an employee there. The driver switched on the radio after a while. A radio presenter’s voice filled, breaking the silence. “Just in. A black-eyed monster has been sighted in Crestfall. This is a mysterious event in Crest, as this is its first of its kind.” “Reports have also been made that this monthly goes out of its way to kill unless anyone stands in its way. It seems to be searching for something or, rather, someone. We have no sufficient information yet concerning what it wants or searches for.” My brows pinched as I tried to remember any time in the past such a thing ever happened, and there was none. What monster could this be? We

  • Chapter 113: I Am Still HIM!

She looked at my eyes, searching probably for an ounce of a lie. She placed her eyes into mine. “Fine, let’s do this. We start by looking for the other women.” She packed her bags and dialed the office telecom. Knock knock. The door opened, and a young man opened the door. “Good day, ma’am, you sent for me.”Elyndra replied, “Yes, I did. Clear my entire schedule for the day. Anyone who asks of me, tell them I’m not available. Including the investor, stall the meeting.”“Alright, ma’am,” the young man with a tag of secretary named Abdul said. “Anything else?” “Tjat will be all, Abdul. Make sure you supervise the employee while I’m gone. I would rather not hear any form of incompetence. Is that clear?” “Yes ma’am,” he responded and hurried out. I chuckled. She looked up, lips curved upwards. “What?” I shook my head. “Nothing… So are you ready?”“Yes.” We stepped out of the office and used the elevator to move to to the last floor. As we passed through the receptionist, everyone p
