Alex pulls a chair and sits back down. His legs are crossed with ease, and there is a twinkle of interest in his eyes. “I have to tell you, this has got to be the most captivating thing to have come out of your rotten mouth.” He says. “And it's the truth, I swear to you.” Damien insists. Alex turns to look at Mister Jones. “Jonathan, you care to explain what this is?” Mister Jones steps forward and clears his throat. “I don't know.” “You don't know?” Alex huffs. “Your father instructed me to get rid of the Shankly son, and I did! I made him disappear, and it's not my fault that Helen thought of getting a replacement. She kept away from my family for years, and I never noticed that Damien was… adopted.” It's true, except there is a small white lie in that story. Mister Jones didn't kill the Shankly son. Damien gets pushed into the wall, and several guns are pointed at him. “Alex, you can't do this! I'm sorry, man, but I need you to see things from my perspective!” He begs. “I didn't know that my sister stole my shares! This is not me trying to cheat you!” “Stop moving around like a worm, Damien. It would make cleaning up harder for my men.” “Please, Alex, just let go of him. He is just a kid, a stupid one, but he is harmless.” Mister Jones surprises everyone when he begs on Damien's behalf. “He is stupidly dangerous. He tried to sell a hospital that that girl worked so hard for. I will be doing her a favor by taking out this liability that is her brother.” Alex snorts. “But he has a wife and children on the way, Alex. Please, show him mercy and I assure you that he won't try this nonsense again.” Mister Jones press. He knows that there is a limit he could push this to, but he can only attempt to change Alex's mind. The last thing Helen needs is to mourn her adoptive brother.

Damien turns into a coward immediately when he sees that Duke Scales has been killed in front of him. No wonder Helen has always maintained that Alex Kane is a very dangerous man.
