CHAPTER 5

This took Vivian off guard, she was taken aback by this revelation because it was he who had vehemently ordered that the project be given to the Cooper's group. Even after she had said, they were not qualified to take on such a huge project.

Vivian felt it was time to speak up;

"But sir, if I could recall correctly, I told you that it was a waste of time and that they are not worth such a huge deal and project from our company… *sighs* What are we going to do now? They are already on the project plan as we speak."

Lunel sat in silence as he was lost in thoughts, it wasn't going to be easy to just take away the project from them because deals and paperworks have been signed, agreements and deeds have been reviewed already. So it was something that felt like an impossible task.

After a while, he uttered;

"I think I have a plan Vivian, and I am certain that this will work."

"What is it sir, how do we stop them from carrying out the project? A lot has already been done, so I don't think it would be that easy to just withdraw everything."

"Do you trust me Vivian?"

"Of course I do sir, but then, I still don't get it. We can't possibly just withdraw it without some serious consequences that could occur."

"Okay let me break it down for you, I have a plan on that. We don't have to withdraw the project just head on, oh yes, we would use other means and beat them at their own game."

"Okay that sounds good enough… but still, I need to know how." Vivian uttered, she was still trying to figure out what was going on with her boss.

"I plan on adding another term, this actually is something very small for us to handle but then, they won't even notice until it all comes crashing down."

"Okay that's quite interesting to know, but then how do we do it?"

"You know the Cooper Group has always had eyes on our medical center (scar elimination) and they want so badly to become an agent of that deal."

"Yes, I am quite aware of that sir…" Vivian uttered, still confused.

Because the Chase's medical center was very popular, and to become an agent of such a huge medical center and seller of their well researched medicines, it would make them untouchable and even well known in the district which was something they wanted really badly.

"So here is the plan, we will give them the project."

"What?!! Mr Lunel I don't think that is a good idea, I mean if you really regret giving them such a billion dollar contract why give them more? It will make their pockets richer. So are you bringing them down to their knees or raising them up?"

"Well this project will be having a serious term, one that they wouldn't expect to hit them. The term would involve the Cooper family to sell our medical products, with hopes that they make a 10 million dollars of sales volume for the first month. If they did that, they could get a better discount but if not, they would pay 20 million dollars for compensation and would automatically lose their agents rights as well."

Vivian was dumbfounded by this idea, she just couldn't fathom it. One of such reasons is because having 10 million dollars from selling their medical products was easy-peasy. It was something that could be done in a week due to the high popularity that their products have in the entire district and beyond.

So it wasn't much of a hard task for anyone to accomplish, so Vivian couldn't help but wonder if he was just being funny or something.

She felt he was only trying to make them gain more.

"Mr Chase, I really don't think it's a good idea for you to give them the 10 million project because I personally believe that our medicine can be sold even in 3 days for such an amount, because it is very much popular and you know that. So using this medium to want to bring them down would not be the very best way to do it sir."

Lunel smiled and looked at her and said;

"Just do what I asked of you Vivian, it will definitely work, Coopers will lose and go down as planned. Just trust me on this, or when have I ever done something that has failed to come to reality?"

Vivian decided to trust her boss on this, it was not like he had ever made poor choices in the past, so she had to trust that his plans would come to fruition.

She agreed respectfully and didn't try to stop him any further because in the past, he has always been right.

Lunel Chase stood up after coming to an agreement with his subordinate and then said; "I will be going now, make sure you take extreme care of yourself and keep this meeting a secret."

"Of course, Mr Chase." Vivian respectfully said.

He left the office and on his way to the elevator he bumped into someone.

"Sorry for that." He apologized and just wanted to walk away.

But then the other person just stood there and began looking at him in disgust, not just that, he continued to despise him.

"You dirty individual, you should watch where you are going, how dare you bump into me with such uncleanliness?"

"I am really sorry, I already apologized, what else do you want from me? It was a mistake, so I don't get how else you would want this to be undone."

"How dare you speak, so you know who I am? You are a worthless piece of trash that's what you will ever be. You should be down on your knees apologizing, because I can make your life a living hell if I chose to." The other uttered.

Vivian was dumbfounded hearing such an uproar going on just outside her office and immediately sprang up to find out what was happening.

As soon as she rushed out, she saw a man raining abuses on Mr Chase, her eyes nearly fell out of their sockets.
