One of the things that sprung up with handling situations like this was that Ethan always had to be at the top of his game and this made him sometimes more irritated than usual.

Sometimes he felt like he should have nothing to do with those guys but that would only look like he was putting boundaries with things that he should just allow to take a usual step.
