Devilish Divinity

The explosion engulfed the skies, what sort of power Ruphelia was using was beyond me, but it was clear she used it to protect us. She could have done that explosion the very instant of contact, but instead, she decided to produce a wave that crashed against the demon and sent it far away from the palace, towards the skies and beyond, exploding devastatingly and creating a 'sun' in the middle of the night. It was evident to the entire capital that the main church was now being attacked, but that wasn't the only thing.

The shockwave produced was gigantic enough to spread across space and 'erase' something that had been concealing the main events from us.

With a flutter, that barrier got decimated and revealed to us the reality of the situation. We - two powerless 'saints' were engulfed amidst a titanic battle that could only compare to those movies of fighting monsters that we used to see back in the states, except this time it is real.
