Chapter 15: Showtime!

Seeing so much attention on them, Wendy tightened her grip on Damian.

With sure steps they walked into the large hall that had been filled with many people.

In the center of the room Damian could see Clayton's family gathered there, he could feel how they were looking at him right now.

Although they seemed to be smiling at their arrival, Damian knew for sure that the intentions of the smiles were not good for him.

Not only that, Damian could see their eyes looking at him still with their usual condescending gaze.

Wendy, who knew that their situation would be very difficult after this, began to whisper to Damian.

"Are you okay? We have to get to them," Wendy whispered, still staring ahead with a confident smile on her face.

"I'm used to it so it's no problem. But, your family really invited all the important people in town," Damian replied with a soft chuckle.
