Chapter 7: Find a Helper!

George got up from his position angrily, it was obvious from his face that he was furious with what Damian had done to him. With quick steps George walked towards Damian and without saying anything George immediately kicked Damian's shin causing him to fall to the floor.

Not only that, George started kicking Damian's stomach who had fallen down, "Feel that shit! How dare you dirty my clothes, useless people like you are better off dead!" roared George angrily while continuing to kick Damian who could only protect himself.

"A bastard like you deserves it," said Sarah - George's younger sister - laughing happily as she watched George beat the helpless Damian on the floor.

"It's still early, but you're making me angry. Don't you want to come with me to finish this bastard off, Sarah?!" George stepped on the side of Damian's face this time with a creepy grin on his face.

"You better cut the noise, George. You'll be in trouble if Wendy sees what you're doing to her," Sarah said, choosing to sit on the sofa and not pay attention to the violence George was inflicting on her sister-in-law.

Damian gritted his teeth angrily, he hoped Wendy would come over soon to calm down these bastards who were beating him up, he really just wanted to live in peace in this house, but they were intent on hurting him physically and mentally.

Right at that moment he saw George being pushed back, "Damn you, George! I'll make sure you regret doing this to my husband!" Wendy didn't expect the first thing she would see downstairs to be this horrible.

Wendy quickly helped Damian to get up from the floor, she really felt very sorry for what happened to Damian right now.

"What can you do to me? We'll see who suffers later." George was already satisfied with beating Damian, so he ignored Wendy's words. Since there was nothing George could do there, he chose to leave.

Wendy also chose to take Damian away from there and ordered one of the family's maids to clean up the mess George had made earlier.

. . .

Remembering what had happened earlier, Wendy took Damian away to come with her after treating the wound Damian had gotten from what George had done earlier.

"Why did you keep quiet when George did that to you?" asked Wendy from the backseat of the car, Damian who was her bodyguard this time sitting in the front.

"It'll only cause more trouble if I do," Damian replied casually, not really thinking about what George had done to him earlier.

Wendy held his head tiredly, "You better stay away from them before they make trouble for you," said Wendy giving her advice, she knew all too well how crazy her family members could be.

"I intend to, but it looks like they want to make trouble with me," Damian replied with a sigh, even though he deliberately did not come to the dinner table to avoid conflict, but apparently he still could not escape conflict.

Then, Damian remembered to say something to Wendy, "I'll leave as soon as we get to your company. There is something I want to do, you already said that I am your bodyguard right?" Damian wanted to make sure of this, it would be tiring for him if he was not allowed into Wendy's company because they had not been informed about him.

"Yes, I already told the others, so you don't have to worry." Wendy nodded her head, she was actually quite curious about what Damian would do, but she had promised not to interfere with his problems.

"Then I can rest easy." Damian could freely come and go now.

It didn't take long before they arrived at Wendy's company or boutique. Damian immediately waltzed away after Wendy entered the boutique, there was someone he had to meet this time.

In an instant Damian immediately disappeared in a dark alley around the road there, before going to his destination he had to change his appearance so that no one would notice.

The place Damian is currently heading to is a forbidden area for ordinary people to enter, it is a Black Market whose entrance is in the suburbs.

And now Damian was in a bar that looked deserted from the outside, not many people would come to stop at that place because it was made not to attract much attention.

Because Damian knew what was hidden inside the bar, he stepped inside the place and walked straight towards the bartender inside the bar. From a distance Damian could already feel that the bartender was watching him with alertness.

There were actually many codes used depending on the needs of the client entering the Black Market. Damian today would only visit and would not say his true intentions inside the Black Market, because he already knew where he had to find his friend.

"What do you want?" The bartender wasn't very friendly once Damian was in front of him.

"Cosmopolitan." Damian mentioned the code for a general visit to the Black Market and the bartender didn't react to his words.

"The pay?"

Now this was the reason why the bartender was so relaxed because if a layman ordered they would give the original payment, but for people who came there to enter the Black Market they had to pay with special tokens.

Fortunately there were still some tokens left on Damian's body after the accident, so he didn't have to worry about entering the Black Market to take care of his business. Damian took out his token and placed it in front of the bartender.

Seeing the token issued by Damian, the bartender nodded in satisfaction that finally there was someone who really intended to enter the Black Market after several times he had encountered ordinary people who accidentally entered his bar.

"Just a moment," the bartender said after confirming the authenticity of Damian's token.

The bartender quickly prepared Damian's order and served it. Then, as Damian picked up his finished cocktail, the sound of a door opening from his right told him that he had to go inside to enter the Black Market.

"Enjoy your visit!" With a full grin on his face the bartender sends off Damian who slowly begins to disappear behind the black curtain.
