Brandy's antics.

"Emily, is he telling the truth? I need you to be honest with me. You're the only one I could trust right now. Brandy is a jerk. No truth comes out of his mouth.

I don't want to believe that Brandy erased all the data. What gave him the nerves to do that?" Chris focused his attention on Emily. She was the only person that wouldn't lie to him. He doesn't want to believe Mark's explanation even though it seems legit.

"I hate to admit this but it's nothing but the truth. Mark already said it all. If I wasn't there, I wouldn't have agreed to what he said. Everything happened right in front of me. You know what? I don't want to talk about this anymore. It saddens my heart each time I remember what happened out there.
