From a wide balcony, Aden looked out over the horizon. The majority of the city under the tower, was visible to him, the gains wall, and the wide endless green field behind it. It had been three weeks since they implanted the chip in his Brian. The only useful information he got so far was that he was brought to this world by a third party. Who are they? And what do they want? Why they did it is still a mystery. He remembers everything about earth now. With the help of the chip, he even recovered small fragments of his life. But all that didn't help him to figure out who he is. In a precision procedure, whomever messed up with his life, they removed all his personal memories. And the strange thing, advanced as they are, Angariya's are not able to do that or restore his memory.

They call the chip in his barn, personalized assistance artificial intelligence, its standardized to be the same for everyone, but it will function differently from one person to the other, according to his need and his profession, and his experience, it's designed to satisfy each and everyone's needs, and while the person grows, it also evolves with him.

That was the way they explained it to him, but the way he understood it, it's a miniaturized quantum computer, it's capabilities are beyond his comprehension, at least I can converse with it, he told himself.

While my mind was occupied, I didn't even notice when Emika came and stood beside me. "Do you like the scene?" I heard her voice asking me that question. "Yes, it's really amazing," I found myself answering, although I wasn't paying any attention. With a chuckle, she replied, "Yes it is, but you weren't even watching anything." I looked at her, wondering if it was that obvious. "Yes, it is obvious from the way you are looking without seeing anything."

With a sigh, she continued talking while looking down at the city. "Although, like you, I don't know what is going on, I have a feeling whatever it is, you are in the middle of it." and stood silently after that. I wanted to ask her what she meant by that, but the feeling that I couldn't describe, that I noticed on her face, stopped me from doing that.

We both stood beside each other silently. I myself didn't have anything to say. I don't know what to do. The only thing I am thinking of is finding something or someone. I don't know which one is it. All I know is that it's very important. It's just a feeling, but it's one I can't ignore.

At the same time, he has no idea what to do or where to start. It's been only a few weeks since he arrived here, and in the meantime, he has gained a lot of knowledge and information about this world, and the most impressive thing he noticed during this period was the capability he acquired from the chip to process all that knowledge with an incredible speed.

I needed to do something. I said to Emika, "I still don't know what it is, but I will not achieve anything by just staying here." That was truly what I was feeling, and it was the only thing I could say without digging for any information about what she was talking about. Of course, I was aware of her dreams, or premonitions, or whatever she called them.

But I didn't believe it had anything to do with me since there was nothing else that could prove or disprove the existence of the monsters she dreamed about, strange though it may look coming from someone who literally came from another world.

"I do understand your feelings and frustration, the night... I mean, the dreams I've been having seem like, I don't know how to explain it, the last time I saw it, you were there, facing it, as if you were the only hope we had to stop it. Whether it sounds ridiculous or not, that is what I felt. "

She had previously told me about her nightmares, and that they had stopped the day I arrived; we did discuss the possibility that whoever was responsible for my presence here was also responsible for the monsters she had been dreaming about, and I didn't deny the possibility; it still seems to me to be the correct assumption, though I can't just stay here and do nothing.

If your dreams come to be a reality, then me being there facing it also becomes real, so whether I stay or leave, it will not make much difference. Don't you agree? " I told her, while looking directly at her. I knew whatever I said was not that convincing, but the only thing that came to my mind was, and I said it, "I don’t know, maybe, maybe not, but as I told you from the beginning, you are not a prisoner. You can leave or stay as you wish, but where will you go?"

I myself didn't know the answer to that question. It's not like I had a destination in mind. That's when M, who's the name I gave my chip, suggested, "How about checking the nearby kingdom's for a clue." Although nothing about any case similar to yours appeared in any of the shared networks, there may be something out there." That was not strange coming from an AI, and I liked it, so in my turn I passed what M suggested to Emika.

With a surprised look, she asked me, "I haven't heard you ask, did you pre-set a conditional parameter for the search results?" I didn't do anything about what she mentioned, so I asked, "No, I didn't. Why? " Instead of getting an answer, I saw her eyes become wider. "It's not common for the AI to give suggestions without asking or setting conditions that have to be met in order for the AI to give commands, recommendations, or suggestions."

So that is why I thought she was so surprised. I said jokingly, "Maybe M is different." We became good friends"Emika smiled at my response and said, "Maybe it's not common, but nowadays everything is possible." She shook her head while leaving the place we were standing. She said, "Whatever you decide, tell me and I will support you."

As soon as she left, I asked straight away, "M, where do you think we should start from?" Then, as if she already prepared the answer anticipating this question, she answered, and by the way, the reason I referred to M, as she instead of it, is because the AI voice was modeled as a female, "I believe we should start with (Thames kingdom) and the reason I suggested that is because it's the closest."

After a few seconds of silence, M said, "Also, I believe there is something going on in their network, which I can't figure out until I enter the Kingdom."

Emika was wondering about M. Although she didn't show that in front of Aden, the whole issue was bothering her. How can an AI suggest anything? As much as it is intelligent, it was made to be controlled, and each function of it was preprogrammed to follow a certain protocol, and with certain commands, follow that protocol. It is programmable. The owner can add whatever he or she wants to suit their needs.

But when she asked him if he had given it an order or a command, from the look on his face, it was clear that he had no idea what even a command was, but it was listening to their conversation, and giving advice or suggestions, whatever you may call it. That was the strange part.

And there is no way for her to diagnose what happened and make this change to the (AI chip). The only thing she can do is scan it, with his permission first of course, and see the results. Then, that alone was worrying enough, let alone him wanting to leave, and for the Thames kingdom, a country they are on good terms with, and she couldn't even imagine what he would encounter over there. Still, though she couldn't force him to stay, "If I only have just one clue of when it will happen," she whispered, to herself.

After realizing that she couldn't do anything about him leaving, "At least I should prepare for his journey," she thought, "Eventually he will be back." That is if my premonition happens. He will be here at that time, for sure convincing her self with that, she called for a meeting, "I myself am not that convinced. How can I convince them? " She knew that it was not an easy task ahead of her, but she still took the necessary steps to do it. Although knowledge is power.

I don't know where I heard that, but that is what came to my mind now, so I tried to collect all the information available about this planet, the continents, the inhabitants, and the languages. Fortunately, I didn't have to stand from my chair, or even lift a finger to get that information. All I needed to do was ask M, and she provided it immediately. At the same time, it's imprinted in my memory, like I have been memorizing it for weeks, and I can recall it at any time.

Emika, told me that I could leave by tomorrow morning if I wanted, and she prepared a vehicle and all the supplies that I would need on my journey, including an official identification card, and that is what I am waiting for at the moment. I found out that the ID is the only thing that I need. They don't use passports like we do on earth, and there are commercial flights also, since their normal vehicles are capable of flying and moving on the roads at the same time, and surprisingly, M transferred the knowledge of using those vehicles into my brain, and assured me that I can do it.

Adilne thought something major was happening at the Dark Room today. Though she is not allowed to ask any questions, and she is not privileged to any secret information, since she started working at the room two weeks ago, she has only been trained to operate on a complex system, she receives commands on the screen, and she follows the instructions. It is as simple as that. She didn't even have to know what she was working on, and she was not allowed to even ask.

But absolutely, something that was not supposed to happen today has happened today. The atmosphere in the workplace was darker than it used to be. She only hoped that it was not something that she did, when suddenly the head of the Dark Room approached her, and her heart almost stopped.

Chapter 39Beginning of the Invasion Part 2B Rohonda appeared to be listening to a report from some type of recorded device when the countdown started; although her attention was directed to what she was listening to, she didn’t miss the quietness of the place with hundreds of people being silent at once. She put the device that she was listening to and collected another one from her desk drawer and started recording a message: “This recording is from Section One; the time is 17.00 hours, and today is the first day that officially Project Zero One started finally. I hope we have enough time to implement all the security measures that we have been working on." Without a second thought, she pressed the send button and returned the device to the same drawer. With a sigh, she rested her back on the chair she was sitting in and said, “I wonder if this was all a perdition or planned, I don’t know what they are thinking, fighting an alien invasion with abducted aliens.” a

Chapter 37Beginning of the Invasion Part 1BEmika’s point of viewThis was the worst nightmare I have been seeing, and I really wished it was just a nightmare, but it was not; it was a reality, a fact in front of my eyes. The thing I was referring to as a portal was forming in the same location I have been seeing it in my dreams, or, to say it correctly, my nightmares. And the reason I am referring to it as a portal is because I knew it was, because I saw it with my own closed eyes at that time, the monsters coming out of it, which indicates that it was a portal of some kind. I have been afraid my dreams would come true, and I didn’t wish for it, but somehow I had the feeling that whatever I saw would happen, but I hoped it would be in a different day and time; a time when I was better prepared for it and was able to take some kind of countermeasure for it.I have no idea what kind of countermeasure I could have been able to take. But anything is better than being taken by surprise

At least they have been together more the rest of them, Regardless of their meeting in the forest, as they said, Murad shook his head like he was dropping the questions that filled it and went to the boy. Chapter 35The First EncounterPart 6BGoosebumps ran down his spine when he saw what he saw when he used the skill. He was staring at a black portal that was enormous, over four meters tall and ten meters wide, with a black square shape instead of the typical gateway portals seen on this planet. It was both smokey and liquid-like at the same time, and he was unable to determine what material it was composed of. It was moving like a live entity with a pulsating heart, but it was not changing shape. In a matter of seconds, it gained shape and materialized in front of him at the location the youngster had indicated. He felt a terrible sensation throughout his body. This is what the young man was talking about. He told himself, "So it's all true then," confirming the first thing the boys had mentioned. "The time was the next thing he confirmed, and it was true too." He had the chance to glance at the clock now that it was getting to be the time of sunset, but he didn't think of it. He fe
