Shock and surprise took Natasha, and she froze at her location for a moment, since someone disappearing suddenly is not a common thing, unless if that person is going through a dimintional doorway, and there non of that in front of the building entrance.

Immediately, she went inside the building and gave an order to the receptionist to track down the whereabouts of Amun. One of the options of having an ID card is the possibility of tracking that person, which is not something done frequently, and for no reason, but mostly if there is any criminal activity and they are monitored only.

But it's a blessing at the moment. As soon as she sat in her office, and turned on her office computer, the receptionist came in and told her "there is some type of interference with her signal, and we are unable to pinpoint her location, but..."

She hesitated for a moment, then Natasha asked her, " But what?" The receptionist decided to say it anyway and said, " She is somewhere in the Magu Forest."

Nothing could surprise Natasha today more than this piece of information, even the disappearance of Amun. "Did I hear you correctly? Did you say the Mgau forest? "

"Yes, but the signal is jumping all over and we can't pinpoint her exact location."

"I understood that much, but we all know there is no dimintional portal open to the magu forest."

"I thought it may be an equivalent malfunction, so I did the tracking more than ten times and checked the software and the equipment three times."

"Keep on tracking her, and share it with me over my terminal." After she gave the instructions to the receptionist, Natasha started calling her supervisor and informed him about the situation.

At the same time, Nana (Amun now), as soon as she stepped out of the door, the whole view in front of her changed immediately from an urban city and buildings, to a forest and trees. For a few seconds, she also froze in her location, then looked behind herself, and in front of her a couple times, making sure, that what she was seeing is actually correct. She was talking to herself, she said, "Why am I wondering now?". "This isn't the first time I've found myself in an unusual location," she said as she moved forward, still talking to herself, "there's no reason to stand here, no one is coming after me, so it's better to move. That way I might find some answers."

--------------------------

This world is called Kyriagi The world consists of five main continents, which take up most of the planet, including a few dozen islands and archipelagos, scattered all around the major continents. Surrounded by three oceans, the biggest continent is called Angariya, which sits on a landmass of more than twenty-eight million square miles, more than one-half of both north and south America combined.

Angariya is not just the biggest continent, but also the most populated. On the North West side of this continent is the country that is also the biggest country on the continent, which also carries the same name as the continent, the Kingdom of Angariyaa, with a population of over ten billion, and a landmass of 6.5 million miles square, almost the size of Russia, and its capital's name is Abjadiya.

The second country is the Thames Kingdom, in the southern part of the kingdom, just below Angariya. Its population is more than eight billion people, With a landmass of 5.8 million miles square, the capital city of this kingdom is called Duhura.

On the north of the continent, there are two small countries: Ayata and Numira. Both countries are known for their advanced industrial development, and both are ruled by corporations. With a strange government structure, explaining it will take a good amount of time, still difficult to understand, but strange enough, it works for them. The only point that is worth mentioning is that they don't have any active military. That being said, nobody dares to invade them.

In the eastern part of the continent, there is the third biggest country on this continent, which is the Mythical Land of Arumina. It is the only land on the whole planet, that is ruled by Animan (beastman or demi-humans). Although humans also live there, including the mythical beasts. The majority of the country is forest land, and it borders from the north the country of Numira, and from the south, the Thames Kingdom. From the west, there is the Magu Forest.

The Magu Forest, is the only land that borders all the countries on this continent, and it is located in the center of the continent.

The Magu Forest, is the biggest forest on this planet, with an area of almost 7,000,000 square kilometres (2.7 million mi2), almost the size of Australia. ,

It's a pasture for over one million species, animals, beasts, Animas, monsters, and also some humans, the world's worst criminals, bandits, and the like of them. Rumor has it there is a country in the middle of it, which is ruled by those renegades, but no one can confirm it or deny it, simply because it doesn't go under any country or kingdom.

And it is the boundary between the humans, and the other creatures, whether animals, monsters,or the Animan. The Animan are mostly humanoid creatures who are similar to humans but at the same time, with animal features. Some call them beast men, and others call them demi-humans, but their official name is Animan, and they are the biggest population that occupies the Magu Forest.

On the western side of the Magu forest, about a couple of thousand kilometers from the Angariya kingdom, in a dense location with trees and strange plants, there was this loud explosion that came from there, which caused the birds on the trees, and the small animals that lived there, to run for their lives, none of them looking back at their homes.

After the explosion, what sounded like gunfire continued. Non-stop shooting erupted in the area, "Do you see anyone?" asked a man hiding behind a boulder, "Six enemies are sounding us in a semi-circle." The man looked behind him, a woman holding two children tightly and said to her "don't worry, nothing will happen to them" and he faced in front of him and continued shooting back.

Beside him was a young man, not more than 18 years old, also shooting back and wearing what looked like an infrared glasses. Without looking at the man, he said, "We don't have enough ammunition, and I think I injured one of them." The man looked at him and whispered to him, "They are after me, I will try to attract their attention and let them follow me. Please, I beg of you, take care of my family and run away with them.

The young man looked at him with an emotional look, and was unable to say anything. He just nodded to him. He knew there was nothing much they could do. The ammunition was almost finished, they didn't have any more explosives, and they also couldn't hide behind this boulder for ever.

Chapter 39Beginning of the Invasion Part 2B Rohonda appeared to be listening to a report from some type of recorded device when the countdown started; although her attention was directed to what she was listening to, she didn’t miss the quietness of the place with hundreds of people being silent at once. She put the device that she was listening to and collected another one from her desk drawer and started recording a message: “This recording is from Section One; the time is 17.00 hours, and today is the first day that officially Project Zero One started finally. I hope we have enough time to implement all the security measures that we have been working on." Without a second thought, she pressed the send button and returned the device to the same drawer. With a sigh, she rested her back on the chair she was sitting in and said, “I wonder if this was all a perdition or planned, I don’t know what they are thinking, fighting an alien invasion with abducted aliens.” a

Chapter 37Beginning of the Invasion Part 1BEmika’s point of viewThis was the worst nightmare I have been seeing, and I really wished it was just a nightmare, but it was not; it was a reality, a fact in front of my eyes. The thing I was referring to as a portal was forming in the same location I have been seeing it in my dreams, or, to say it correctly, my nightmares. And the reason I am referring to it as a portal is because I knew it was, because I saw it with my own closed eyes at that time, the monsters coming out of it, which indicates that it was a portal of some kind. I have been afraid my dreams would come true, and I didn’t wish for it, but somehow I had the feeling that whatever I saw would happen, but I hoped it would be in a different day and time; a time when I was better prepared for it and was able to take some kind of countermeasure for it.I have no idea what kind of countermeasure I could have been able to take. But anything is better than being taken by surprise

Chapter 35The First EncounterPart 6BGoosebumps ran down his spine when he saw what he saw when he used the skill. He was staring at a black portal that was enormous, over four meters tall and ten meters wide, with a black square shape instead of the typical gateway portals seen on this planet. It was both smokey and liquid-like at the same time, and he was unable to determine what material it was composed of. It was moving like a live entity with a pulsating heart, but it was not changing shape. In a matter of seconds, it gained shape and materialized in front of him at the location the youngster had indicated. He felt a terrible sensation throughout his body. This is what the young man was talking about. He told himself, "So it's all true then," confirming the first thing the boys had mentioned. "The time was the next thing he confirmed, and it was true too." He had the chance to glance at the clock now that it was getting to be the time of sunset, but he didn't think of it. He fe
