“Holy! Now that is a hook.”

Everyone looked surprised for a moment by Jason’s right hand, including Kane.

The stadium fell into a momentary silence with the crushing blow, and Kane looked disoriented by the strike. He wasn’t ready for the strike, and there was no expectation to see such massive power from Jason. Besides, Kane was taller than Jason, and the distance Jason had to cross was longer than what Kane should cross to reach Jason.

However, the surprise didn’t last for more than a second. Jason’s right hand again reached Kane’s face like a rocket.

“Crack!”

The mics near the ring recorded a clear cracking sound as Jason’s fist connected with Kane’s skull.

Kane’s head whipped to the side with uncontrollable force, and a bit of blood splattered to the side. However, Jason wasn’t done with his assault.

His left hand followed with a punch to Kane’s ribcage, followed by a similar right hand.

“Crack! Crack!”

Two more crushing sounds followed the brutal assault. Finally, Jason followed up with a roundhouse kick to Kane’s chest.

“Boom!”

Kane’s heavy body flew across the ring before hitting the steel fence that surrounded the ring. A moment later, his unconscious body fell to the ground as a stream of blood seeped out of the corner of his mouth.

There was an eerie silence in the stadium. In fact, everyone who watched the fight even from their homes was stunned. No one knew what happened or how it happened. Even the referee looked too shocked to move.

“Are you waiting for me to kill him?”

Jason's calm and cold voice was the first thing to break the dead silence.

“Ah….”

The referee took a good moment before rushing to unconscious Kane’s side.

“That man needs medical help.”

An experienced fighter jumped up from his seat in the commenting area.

Finally, people started coming back to life. Officials ran into the ring to check on Kane, and the guards surrounded Jason to protect him from the others. The entire venue fell into a disarray of shock and chaos within a couple of seconds.

The Fight of the Century didn’t even last a minute, and the challenger was in critical condition.

There were many furious, curious, and terrified gazes focusing on Jason who stood at the centre of the ring with his painted face. His eyes never left the fallen enemy, and his icy gaze made the others shiver.

“You… You monster….”

Jason looked at the old man stuttering while pointing his finger at him.

It was the man who introduced himself as the coach of Kane Evanders.

“Old man, I told you before. You should learn to pick your fights. If you can’t, you need to learn to keep your mouth shut.”

Their conversation wasn’t loud enough to be heard by everyone, but there were enough cameras and microphones to broadcast the entire conversation.

“Remember! My name is Jason Hope!”

A few minutes after the fight, the entire world fell into shocking disarray.

The people who suffered the most were the ones who placed their bets on Kane’s victory. Some of them even lost their fortunes, and the minority who placed their bets on Jason was beyond overjoyed.

The next problem came when the payout for these bets came. The difference was too high, and some directly refused to pay the bets, creating even more chaos.

Amid this chaos, Jason’s name started to dominate the entire world.

Various media cooperation, social media and influencers started quoting the fight. Also, the massive event ended in a very unexpected manner.

Most people expected to see the fight last at least a couple of rounds, but it ended the moment it started, and Kane was in hospital in critical condition.

By the time the doctors confirmed Kane’s condition wasn’t critical, slow-motion videos of the fight were spreading all over the world.

In those videos, everyone saw the slight caving of Kane’s skull as Jason’s fist connected with it. Also, the mics recorded several bone-cracking sounds with each strike.

Even though the extent of the damage wasn’t critical, and Kane’s condition was yet to be announced, everyone knew Jason had broken several bones and given a concussion to Kane.

“The promise is delivered. Jason Hope sent another man to the hospital!”

The titles started appearing all over the world.

“He will break that ant!”

“Do you know him better than me?”

“Enjoy your time until tomorrow!”

“Remember! I am Jason Hope!”

“Is this what it means to have AI accuracy to the maximum? She predicted what Jason would do hours before. Can The Endless game engine be the most powerful AI engine ever?”

“Jason Hope! The most dangerous fighter in the world.”

“Unexpected ending. Undefeated Kane Evanders lost in thirty-three seconds.”

“Will Jason Hope step into MMA fighting? Is there anyone who can face him?”

“A monster in the game! A monster in the real world!”

Jason Hope! The man who can do it all!”

Various titles with various pictures of Jason’s fight popped out everywhere.

His old pictures where he took on the bandits, and videos of Jason beating up Derek to a crying mess came back to the light.

However, what caught the most attention was his painted face which Jason used to play with Hanna, and what Amelia said about Jason before the battle.

Her words described Jason the best and what he was capable of.

“That was brutal! I didn’t think he would go that far.”

Magnus stared at the footage of the fight with a blank expression. Jason was a brutal man, but he expected to see some control while he was on Earth. However, all his expectations seemed to be in vain.

The world finally acknowledged the appearance of Jason Hope. A man who showed signs of becoming a legend.

“Did he leave?”

“He just logged in after a shower, Chief. He said he had to show his face to Hanna or she won’t be happy with him.”

“Hm… What about the money?”

“We already have it. I deposited it to Jason’s personal account, Chief.”

“Good. He is no longer a simple man. Everyone will know his name and who he exactly is. Even if this doesn’t affect The Endless too much, people will pay attention to him.”

Magnus felt it was rather better to go with the flow than to try anything more with Jason.

He was no longer under anyone’s control.

“My name is Jason Hope.”

He was no longer a random nobody who had no one in this world. He was a man of power and dominance.

"Aren't you worried about that old man? Shouldn't we get rid of him?"Amelia only brought it up once Hanna had drifted to sleep, still clinging tightly to her.Jason didn’t look up from his papers."He isn't snooping around, is he?"His hand moved smoothly, turning a page with practised ease. The light from the magic lantern caught the fine lines of modern paper, not parchment.A subtle sign of change. One of many Earth-born advancements quietly seeping into Yuriel under his guidance.Amelia brushed a soft strand of hair away from Hanna’s face, her eyes lingering on the child's peaceful expression."Hm. But none of your people can stop him."Her voice was calm, but the edge beneath it was unmistakable.Jason finally looked up and met her gaze."Let's wait and see," he said."I don't think he’ll stay long. He’s one of the Shadows. They carry out the Grand Wizards’ will. People like him don’t linger—they act."He paused. The words that followed were slower. More thoughtful. He didn’t bot

"It is indeed impressive. No wonder those fools from the Brodice Kingdom are terrified of you."The hooded figure removed his invisibility, stepping out of the corner with composed movements. His voice was steady and regained the cool confidence of someone who knew his worth.“And you are indeed a powerful woman, Madam Amelia. This is my first time witnessing the presence of a Peak Grandmaster. They are… extremely rare. Rarer than Grand Wizards, in fact.”Despite his previous caution, the Master Wizard now carried himself with certainty. He wasn't someone easily intimidated—and though he wouldn’t pick a fight here, his pride wouldn’t allow him to remain cowering either.“Eh! The ghost is here! Catch it!” Hanna started struggling in Amelia’s arms with sparkling eyes.Amelia held her firmly."That is not a ghost, baby." Jason’s voice was gentle, but his gaze stayed fixed on the now-visible man.The atmosphere in the hall shifted.Tension rippled through the officials as they realised th

  • 306 - The Messenger

The atmosphere grew heavier, the tension thickening with each breath. The envoys from the Brodice Kingdom stood their ground, their jaws clenched in barely contained frustration.Their eyes—especially those of the Grandmasters—never left Amelia. There was fear there, even if none of them dared to admit it. One step too far, and they knew she could crush them where they stood.Still, their leader stepped forward, holding a scroll with trembling fingers masked by feigned authority.“We are envoys of the Brodice Kingdom,” he declared, voice echoing with forced confidence.“I stand here on behalf of His Majesty—the absolute ruler of our lands. In his name, we extend a proposal of peace. We are willing to lift the bounty on your head... in exchange for removing the bounties you have placed on His Majesty and his subjects.”His words were rehearsed—measured—but anyone could see the nerves behind them.“No.” The room froze. The envoy blinked.“W–What?” Even the officials of Light Shone looked

  • 305 - Tell Me

‘This place… it’s really busy…’ The hooded figure observed the bustling administrative hall in silent awe. He had expected chaos—a disorganised mess of self-proclaimed rulers who were unfit to govern. But instead, what he saw was efficiency. Decisions were being made on the spot, minor issues were being resolved instantly, and orders were being swiftly relayed.Even without direct oversight, everything flowed seamlessly. The alien humans had a system, and they had something else, something his people lacked—Instant communication. He knew of it. They called it a forum or something.‘A divided authority, yet still centralised around a leader…’ His gaze flickered toward the two empty seats in the center of the hall. A symbol of true leadership. Those seated around them were not aristocrats, not nobles, but humble-looking men and women dressed in practical, simple clothing. Yet their eyes were sharp, their minds sharper. Each of them radiated competence.‘These aren’t placeholders. These

‘So, this is Light Shone.’His hidden eyes scanned the streets as he walked leisurely, moving unseen alongside the startled envoys.‘Still too small, but… this is serious potential.’He had slipped out of the carriage as the guards inspected it, effortlessly avoiding their scrutiny. While his invisibility shielded him from their eyes, he still occupied physical space—and he preferred not to take the risk of being noticed. With measured steps, he blended into the bustling streets. What he saw defied his expectations. The village was alive. It wasn’t just busy—it thrived.Shops occupied every available space, their owners negotiating prices with eager customers. People bustled past him, engaged in work yet carrying an air of contentment, their movements purposeful, their faces filled with ease. This was not the Light Shone he remembered.‘Back then, it was different.’It had been just as lively, but the stench of blood clung to the air, and signs of death lurked at every corner. "Is this... alright, My Lord?""Yes. And pretend I was never here. Once we pass through, you won’t see me again. Do you understand? No one must know I was ever here.""Yes! Yes, My Lord!""And... no one else knows I am here, correct?" The hooded figure’s voice sharpened deliberately."N-No! No, My Lord! We... we are departing soon!" The envoy stammered, his body trembling as he hastily retreated to the far corner of the carriage.‘Sigh… How useless.’The hooded man barely spared him another glance. The Brodice Kingdom had neither the power nor the will to resist the Grand Order that had been issued. It had been nearly a decade since the last decree from the Grand Wizards, and that one had shaken the world, announcing the arrival of an immortal alien.‘But this might be the first time in centuries that they had to step in to stop a minor war.’He turned his gaze to the passing scenery outside the carriage window, watching in silence. No one, aside from the envoy and a handful of high-ra
