Chapter 15
Author: Keep It Flowing
“Fred!”

“F-Fred?”

Alan was just talking about Fred when the man appeared at the doors of Graham Group Tower.

Alan’s cold expression was immediately filled with ferocity.

Unlike Alan, Three’s voice had a sliver of fear.

Not that it was his fault, though.

Anyone who saw Fred make his opponent fly a few dozen meters away with just a slap would be as wary as Three was now.

The man that barged into the room to announce the news was also there when Three brought his men to surround Fred, and he looked afraid as well.

Then, Three’s complexion paled even further as he saw Alan turn to look at him.

“The Grahams family do not accept wimps.”

Alan looked at Three and continued speaking in an icy tone. “I can ignore your blunder before, but now that the brat has decided to appear at my office building, you will cripple him no matter the costs! Or else…”

“I…”

Three knew what Alan was implying.

If he did not manage to cripple Fred today, there would be no place for him among the Graham family again.

Considering how powerful the Grahams are in Sea City, being kicked out by the Grahams also meant being kicked out of Sea City.

So with this in mind, Three gathered his courage and nodded.

Alan harrumphed. “How dare you harm my son, brat! I’m going to make you regret ever coming to the world!”

“Looks like the Grahams have been doing well these years.”

At the entrance to Graham Group Tower.

Fred stood with a small smile and looked up at the tall building that seemed to shoot up to the sky. Beside him, though, Stellar scoffed. “They really have, but it’s obvious they’ve taken this business and treated it as if it’s their own!”

“And you did not think this would happen when you had them manage it?” Fred asked with a smile.

“There was no need!” Stellar replied arrogantly. “Who in the world would dare to take the Great One’s businesses as their own?”

“Haha…”

Fred did not say anything more and walked toward the entrance.

“Fred Hoffman? What is he doing here?”

Just then, a man not too far away who was also walking toward the tower entrance exclaimed.

“You know him, Jeff?” The lady beside him asked curiously.

“Of course! Why wouldn’t I?”

Jeffery, who she called Jeff, smiled mockingly. “Everyone in Sea City knows him. He’s the pathetic wimp that married into the Cadman family!”

Valerie was known as the most beautiful woman in Sea City. So naturally, Jeffery used to be one of her suitors as well.

However, Jeffery could not be compared to other suitors like Mr. Graham and Yousef, who were from much wealthier and more powerful families.

This was why Jeffery envied and hated Fred, the good-for-nothing wimp who was lucky enough to have Valerie as his wife.

People like Jeffery were mainly the reason why all of Sea City knew that Fred was a wimp over the past five years—they were the ones who spread the word.

After mocking Fred, Jeffery found himself curious.

He wanted to know why a wimp like Fred would dare to confidently show himself in Graham Group Tower.

‘There’s no way Fred doesn’t know Mr. Grahams likes Valerie.

‘Or is Valerie in Graham Group Tower right now? Is that why Fred is here? To look for her?

‘If that’s the case, then we have a big show to watch!’

With this in mind, Jeffery immediately tugged his companion over and smiled as if he had met an old friend. “Oh! Fred! What a coincidence. What are you doing here?”

“Great…”

Stellar’s gaze turned icy when he saw Jeffery.

Jeffery might think that he spoke softly just now, but Stellar had heard him clearly.

Fred glanced over and halted Stellar, before replying calmly, “I’m looking for someone. They owe me money.”

‘Looking for someone? Who owes him money?’

The mockery on Jeffery’s expression grew. Evidently, he interpreted Fred’s response as looking for his wife Valerie. This meant that Valerie was indeed within Graham Group Tower.

The money part was even easier for Jeffery to interpret. He assumed that Valerie had spent the night with Mr. Graham, and therefore Fred was here to receive financial compensation.

“Oh, Fred! You truly are a different breed!”

Jeffery’s disgusting thoughts could be easily read from his expression, but he did not say them aloud. Instead, he smiled proudly. “Well, I only received a notice to work for the Graham Group today. So unlike you, I’m going to have to work if I want their money!”

Jeffery was boasting about the fact that he was employed by the Graham Group, and was therefore part of the Graham family at large.

At the same time, he was also insinuating that Fred was pathetic enough to sell his wife for money.

“How dare you!” Stellar shouted, no longer able to hold himself back.

The Great One was not any man Jeffery could insult!

Stellar did not step in when the Cadmans insulted Fred since their relationship was rather complicated, but Jeffery was just an insignificant employee. How dare this man insult Fred as well?

Jeffery was unfazed by Stellar and he chuckled. “Well, aren’t you loud? Did you employ someone to shout at them if they didn’t give you money, Fred? Interesting! Very interesting!”

“F*ck you!”

Stellar clenched his fist at Jeffery’s insolence. He was itching to punch the man across the face.

Just then, a loud shout echoed through the first floor of Graham Group Tower.

“Fred!”

The main doors opened and a group of people rushed out. Leading the group was Mr. Graham’s father, the head of the Graham family, Alan Graham.

Behind him were a few dozen men led by Three.

“You’ve deceived us all, you brat!”

Alan initially suspected that Fred had employed someone to target his son. However, after learning that not only could Fred walk on his own, but was also a good fighter, Alan began to suspect that Fred himself was the one who put his son in a coma.

Now that Fred was standing in front of him, Alan’s expression turned ferocious and wretched. “But no matter how foolproof your facade is, you are nothing in comparison to the Graham family!”

With that, Alan turned to Three and huffed. “What are you doing? Attack him!”

No one moved.

Alan’s expression darkened as he turned to shout at Three who did not follow his prior instructions. “I told you to attack him! Why are you still standing here? Do you not want your job anymore?”

“N-No, Sir!”

Three’s complexion was pale and he shook his head as he stared ahead of him.

“Then what are you waiting for?” Alan was about to shout again.

However, Three interrupted him as he exclaimed, “B-But why is Mr. Walker standing next to Fred?”
