Jack frowned, then asked with confusion, “What do you mean?”

“We’re on our way to take Richard Blackwell’s body to the Colossia Hospital soon,” Samuel answered, placing both hands in his pockets.

After sending Anastasia to school, I went to the Capital Hall,” Seraphine answered, her voice soft. “How about you? Are things hectic right now?”“I’m officially a part of the Legion again,” Oliver informed, his tone low. “And… Jack is alive.”“Huh? Who is—” Seraphine’s voice trailed off, h

He added, “I may be dealing with other cards right now, but I will also do my best to help you.”Oliver wasn’t saying those words because Kevin asked him for a favor. But because he genuinely wanted to.“The company is just a start-up, but it was partnered with Argus Industries, which I didn’t know was involved in illegal transactions,” Kevin stated. After Dominic’s death circulated all over different broadcasting channels, the news about Argus Industries being connected to Zayne Greensmith, who was now imprisoned for his wrongdoings, was known to everyone as well. But that information was something Oliver didn’t expect.‘The warehouses and the different chemicals being experimented with there… Not only was the money used on them taken from the illegal transactions, but also from exploiting money from others?’“At first, I thought that the money they were taking from us was going to Argus Industries, but it wasn’t…” Kevin muttered, shaking his head. “It was in another high-ranking or

So, I tried ignoring them and stopped investing in their fraudulent company already,” Kevin added. “But I didn’t expect that they were more powerful than I expected.”Feeling intrigued, Oliver raised an eyebrow, asking, “How did you say so?”“They have massive connections in Colossia and even in international countries… Even in some places not even the rich could connect with,” Kevin answered. “I guess it was because of their dark nature. They would scam someone’s money, take it as if it were theirs, and use it for something. Because I believe I’m not
