Chapter Nineteen: No Match for Him.

Lima clung unto Cruz tightly as dread swept through her frame. She pulled him to turn back, but there were three more guys approaching from behind.

She let out a mild scream as the danger took a hold of her.

Cruz was totally unfazed. The group was no match for him.

He quickly reached for Lima's shoulder and pressed a nerve ending at the base of her neck and she passed out instantly.

He didn't want her to witness the imminent spectacle.

He had wrapped his arm around her waist before his action, so she fell unconscious against his body.

Gently, he lifted and placed her on one shoulder.

The scarred thug was part of the group behind them. He was at the middle while the other two flanked him left and right. He had seen Lima lose consciousness and thought she had fainted.

He let out a cruel laughter.

"That's one weak b*tch you got there, mate. She just made our job easier." He said and sucked his teeth.
