Preparing to enter the dark forest

Lu Shang's constitution had naturally strengthened. as evidenced by the fact that he didn’t feel any sense of exhaustion, despite cultivating for an entire night.

"Lu Shang" At this moment, a voice drifted over. The one who spoke, was none other than his half brother, which was Wang Lei.

"Hey, bro, how are you doing?" Lu Shang smiled when he saw Wang Lei walking towards him.

"I'm fine, you didn't bother to look for me" Wang Lei said when he was already close to Lu Shang.

"Sorry, I didn't bother to come looking for you because I left the library in the evening, after which I came straight to my residence" Lu Shang is explained to Wang Lei.

Lu Shang continued, "I can see that you have made progress on your cultivation" He smiled

"Yes, I broke through at night, which made my cultivation level advance to the late stage of the 3rd body enhancer realm."

"The purpose of the body enhancer realm was to temper your flesh until you achieved a perfect body. In contrast, if the cultivation method was of a high level and the world essence absorbed into the body was powerful enough, one would be able to achieve the perfect body within a much shorter period of time, I can see that you are already gaining a perfect body," Lu Shang said.

"Yes, I am already close to getting the perfect body." Wang Lei was happy.

"Can we still spar with each other today?" Lu Shang inquired of Wang Lei.

"You are too strong, except you are not going to use your defense skills because I am not sure if I will be able to break through your defense," Wang Lei replied.

"OK then, let's see our physical strength" Lu Shang agreed

The two agreed that they would not be using any skills to fight but were going to use their physical strength.

"Peng!"

Lu Shang and Wang Lei's fists collided, creating a loud boom. A fierce shockwave exploded as the two fighters flew backward.

The two continue doing this for the rest of the day until it is already late in the afternoon, when they stop and go to a restaurant and eat before leaving.

As Lu shang and Wang lei were walking around the sect, people were discussing about them, including how they defeated the furious four and how Lu shang defeated Mo Shen and his friends alone without anybody's assistance.

Before anyone knew, the day came to an end, making everyone enter their residence.

In the blink of an eye, ten days had passed.

The early morning of that day

Lu Shang got out of bed early and started to practice the Heavenly Golden Fist and the Heavenly Descending Palm Technique.

These two martial arts skills were the ones that Lu Shang mainly trained in to increase his strength.

Lu Shang finished his morning training, Since he woke up so early, he headed towards the restaurant alone. There weren’t many people up yet, so he was able to find himself an empty table to sit at due to the entire hall being almost empty with only a few in the restaurant.

Lu Shang ordered for his food and then started eating, he finished the food in less than an hour. After that, he went to the library to gain more knowledge.

He has already read a lot of books, but when he took another book after he was done reading the previous one he was reading, as he was about to open the book, a guard entered the library, saying everyone's attention was needed in the sect hall.

Everybody rushed out of the library and then started going in the direction of the sect hall.

When everybody got to the sect hall, they were patiently waiting for the arrival of the sect leader.

Lu Shang was also within the crowd, waiting.

Lu Shang could feel that someone was staring at him with hatred intent, he turned his face to the left, and his eyes met with the eyes of Mo Shen, who was staring hatredfully at Lu Shang.

He just smiled and then removed his eyes from the body of Mo Shen; he was not afraid of fighting Mo Shen anymore. Mo Shen wasn't worth his attention anymore because he was confident that Mo Shen would be defeated by one move from him.

An elder came up to face everyone and also inform them of the announcement.

"Everyone get prepared." "You people will be adventuring into the dark forest to hunt for monster core in the next two days, and you can go to the weapon hall to select the weapon that will be well suited for you to familiarize yourself with," the elder said before dismissing everybody.

"Lu shang, just wait and see how you will suffer greatly from my hand inside the dark forest," Mo Shen evilly smiled and said in his thought.
