Greed: All For What?

What will happen if a random NPC got awakened and started to build his life instead of following the gamemaster script? That was what happened to Nash Ledger, an ordinary NPC in an open UVR game called ‘Heaven of Terraria.’ Terraria used to be a peaceful land, a place where all races and tribes lived in harmony. But one day, many huge towers suddenly appeared from underground and hundreds of monsters came from the inside, attacking villages and innocent people mercilessly. Nash lived in Camden village that bound to be destroyed by the beasts attack as a part of the game intro. The village was burned into ashes and nobody survived, which later create great chaos at Terraria. It lead to the born of future hero and warrior in Terraria, which must hunt down the beasts and destroy the tower by clearing all the floor inside it. Nash repeated his life as an NPC again and again. He died thousand times everytime a new player sign in to the UVR. But, that night, when Nash trapped and got buried under the roof ruins, waiting for his certain death, a strange voice came inside his head. Something which should have been impossible according to all the known knowledge of a really advanced Earth. I mean, they have even started colonizing planets. Have done countless simulations and even built test stations in space. Yet now, something had gone when they did the same on earth. Bizarre, right? This malfunctioning and imploding of the reactor caused a massive explosion due to the instability of space itself. This is also what allowed the story to exist, as our main characters were all transported. The method is not known, nor why they survived. We can say it is for the story, for now... They all now find themselves on Ethos, eating a mouthful of dirt as they struggled for breath. Some find their situation horrible, others find it relaxing and peaceful. Some see death, others see life. Despair and hope, madness and sanity on an edge. What has fate given you? Welcome to Ethos, a planet of magic. Welcome to Ethos, a planet orbiting an exotic star. Ethos wishes you luck in surviving. Maybe, just maybe... You can someday go back, or not.

What else do you sell if not pizza?” Things like this always made Niko hate his job, he'd been working in that pizza shop for almost a year and he never got used to all the insults and harsh treatment. But he was willing to keep enduring all of it as long as it fetched him some money to take care of himself and his girlfriend Vikkie.

While that’s great and all, what really got his mind churning was how lucrative that game was and continued to be, as well as the possibilities it could provide him to help claw his way back up from his current circumstances. He, who only ever played games off his PC, decided to jump into the new world of magic and opportunity.
