Kyle’s Point of View

Everyone said our lives are adequate but not for every chance. Well, I don’t think that’s right.

My life is full of cruel that I can’t comprehend why I got this kind of life. I always wish to the stars that they give me a wealthy, decent, and unproblematic living. Imagine, I didn’t finish my education, I don’t have parents anymore, I am an only child plus, I don’t know how to survive in this curse. That’s the reason why I don’t believe in the fairytale. Their lives have happy ending unlike me, I don't have anything.

But thanks to Lord because he gave me a wonderful set of friends. We're not prosperous as of the moment but we’re helping each other to elevate everyone beyond.

At the young tender age, I couldn’t imagine we would commit various crimes in our city.

“Are you ready guys?” I asked my comrades as we get near to our destination.

“We’re always ready dude. Don’t worry.” Minmin answered. I noticed our friend, Simon who’s bothered right now. I walked towards him and I put my arms on his shoulder.

“Don’t be nervous. Everything will be okay!” He looked at me and I smiled because of his face. 

“Take a deep breath. Breathe in,” he followed what I advised to him. He took a deep breath and waiting for my signal.

“Breathe out. Then shake your hands” he sways his hands and grinned at me.

“I’m nervous that they might be caught us.” He uttered nervously.

“Don’t worry. We won’t let you get into the jail” I’m about to say something that can make his self-esteem high but Britney signaled.

“All right. We’re lucky because the victim is too feeble-minded!” Britney, Joy, and Kaye went straight to the immigrants who’re currently soaking in the Hotel’s swimming pool. Minmin, Jun, and Laine went to the foreigner’s room inside of the hotel while Me, Simon and Charlie are guarding the entrance.

We’re robbing those filthy rich foreigners. We heard that they’re doing something illegal here in our city. They’re doing illegal mining and smuggling contrabands. This is the way to sustain ourselves. Since no one in our group finished their studies except for Jun, we need to do this even if this crime and wrongdoing.

Britney currently trifling the foreigners and I can see on their faces that they enjoyed the girl’s companies. Good thing, our friends has a good body that they can use to tease. What a jackass.

“Where are you guys?” Charlie asked the guys who’re currently entering the room of foreigners.

“We got in. We’re just taking the money. Wait for our signal. Okay?” Jun exclaimed calmly. To be honest, I’m also nervous because of what we are doing. I’m just hoping this plan could succeed or else we might spend our whole life in prison.

“HEY! HOW DARE YOU!!!” I came back to reality when I heard Kaye’s screamed. I saw the friend of the stranger touches Kaye’s private part. My head turns aggressively and I don’t care about the plan anymore. No one can brazen my girl.

“You scumbag!” I went to their direction and I punched the foreigner’s face. He was defeated because of the force I exerted.

“How dare you do that to my girl!” 

“Hey! Kyle, stop!” Charlie and Simon followed to restrain me.

“Are you her boyfriend?” The foreigner pointed Kaye using his middle finger that made me angrier.

“She’s slut. Coquetting others knowing that she has a sweetheart? What a vagrant!” I can’t control myself anymore and I knocked on the face of immigrant again.

“Let’s go, Kyle! The guards are coming!” We saw the guards coming in our direction so we ran quickly. I just realized that our other friends are still inside of the hotel. I put my earphones and I called them.

“Where are you guys?” I asked.

“We’re in the van now. Come faster!” Laine answered so we rushed running. We saw the van waiting outside of the hotel. Minmin opened the door and we get inside.

“Oh, thanks to God I thought we will be caught!” Britney sneered.

“What got in your mind Kyle to punch a foreigner? You’re not thinking properly! Lower your tempo, okay? Laine scolded while Minmin started to drive the van.

“Woah as if it’s my fault. What will you do if someone acts indecently to your girlfriend? You’re just thinking about the money and not your friend” I complained. His mind was eaten by the money.

“Guys. I’m okay! Don’t worry and don’t argue.” Kaye interferes. 

“We need to celebrate because we got 95% of their money! Yahoo!” Jun shouted that made everyone smile. He shows us the gym bag where the money is placed.

“Wait. How about 5%? What happened?” Charlie nagged which made everyone curious.

“It’s just some accessories. We left them so they could go back to their country without borrowing or something.” And Jun laughed again.

“So, what are we going to do to that money?” Minmin asked while driving. That’s the question. We don’t know where we will put or spend the money we have collected today.

“I plan to rob Mr. and Mrs. Reyes. Do you know who they are?” Jun stammered. We think of it for a while but we don’t have any idea who they are.

“I guess you guys don’t know them. They are the most riches couple here in Quezon Province. They have a motel business and I don’t have an idea that motel is a great investment.” He explained it and we agreed about his plan.

“So, when we will do it?” Joy asked. Jun smiled at her daringly giving us a hint using his face.

“Later at midnight...”

12 Midnight

Jun’s Point of View

As I said, we’re going to rob the couple’s house. We’re the outside of their house and thankfully, they’re on vacation.

The house is stunning. You can see how wealthy they are because of a mansion type of house they have.

I did background research on both of them. I search also their schedule and this is the time where we will get everything. Their house doesn’t have any security guards so we could enter inside easily. 

“I’ll lead. Just follow the plan guys. Okay?” I said to my friends. I used the hammer I brought to shatter the glass door. After breaking it, everyone enters the living room except for Simon who’s watching at the front door.

We parted to each other to make this mission quickly. I assigned Joy, Laine, Kaye, and Britney to go to Mrs. Reyes’ walk-in-closet. She is a collector of different designer bags from different countries. Since we can sell them, I decided to get them also.

Charlie and Kyle went to Mr. Reyes’ room. He is a collector of different watches and I know if we sell that, we can sell it 4x of the retail price since it’s vintage.

“Come here Min!” Minmin followed me and we go to a room where their vault is located.

“Do you know how to trick this?” He asked worryingly.

“Yes, I can since my dad have also like this before. Just guard the door.” And I started tricking the vault. 

“Jeez. This is hard than I expected.” I whisper while still tricking it.

“Are you done?” Minmin asked that’s why I looked at him. He’s now sweating.

“Hey, you’re not doing anything so why are you sweating?” and I laughed. I continued tricking the vault until...

“WAAAAH! SHIT!!!” I was thrilled when Minmin screamed. I looked at the direction he was looking and I was shocked again.

“Shit! Britney, you startled us!” I scolded Britney. She was wearing a Halloween wig.

“I’m sorry. My bad.” 

“Are you finished?” She asked while watching me.

I clicked a various number from the keypad. “I’m about to finish.”

*ting-ting*

I was amazed when I heard the sound. We unlocked it!

“Oh yes!!!” Britney said in a cheerful voice. I opened the door of the vault and our eyes became widened as we saw the piles of money.

“Where’s the bag?” Minmin immediately gave me the bag and we put the money inside of it. After a while, we finished collecting it and about to close the door when something caught my attention.

“Hey, put that down or leave it alone!” Britney scolded when she saw I was holding a gun.

“Leave that, Jun! We don’t need that!” And they leave me alone to go downstairs. I don’t know but this gun made me fall in love. This is elegant.

I put it inside of my shirt at my back and I closed the vault. I went outside of a room and go downstairs when I heard a strange car sound.

“They’re here!” Laine said while panicking. 

“Let’s hide!” we hide in a dark area of the house.

“HEEEEEY HONEY WHO IS THIS?” We heard Ms. Reyes screamed. Jeez! He might catch someone.

“Hey who are you?! Why are you here?” Mr. Reyes asked but the person they’re pertaining is not answering. I wen close to the stairs and I took a peek. It's Simon! Oh no!

“Why did you break the glass? Why are you here?” Mrs. Reyes asked while she about to cry. “I’m going to call the police!” I can see Simon’s face and he’s about to cry.

My eyes became widened when I saw Mr. Reyes punched Simon’s face and he lay down. The man was supposed to kick him again so...

“Bungggg!” I took out the gun and I fired it to him. The woman looked in my direction while she was holding her phone. her eyes are widened and can’t believe what I did.

She’s going to run outside of the house but I shot her back.

“Go guys come out!!! Go to the van!!! I shouted when I saw Mrs. Reyes fell to the floor.

My colleagues ran outside of the house. I threw the gun and went downstairs.

I can see how the blood running to the floor...
