Kingdom Of Asgard: Queen Kate’s POV
“Don’t worry, the Queen will have everything under control “ he said but his voice carried so much weight than he let on.
“It’s bad right?” He kept quiet ,looking at me with a distant look.
“Why do they want me ?” I asked him and he cleared his throat.
“It’s normal for enemies to attack during celebrations,when they know that the Kingdom won’t be on guard”
“Lying to your Queen is the treason “ his eyes widened at my tone but darn it, I need answers! That’s why I needed to know those secrets but no, they kept prosponding it and now I feel like a dumb clueless Queen.
He made his mouth as if to say something but kept quiet when we heard footsteps.
“Your highness” said Knight Luca saluting with 3 soldiers behind him.
“Here to protect you my Queen “
“I should be protecting you all! Get me my armour and dress, I need to be there”
“My Queen please calm down and act rationally “ said the Elite and I closed my eyes to take a deep breath.
“ You two, go and make sure the City Gate is locked and protected and you make sure the guests are well secured in the safety dungeon. Luca and Elite of Asgard ,please follow me to the tower “ I need to see for myself.
“Yes, your highness “ they all said bowing and running out while the two followed me up the stairs leading to the great tower.
My heart tore to pieces when I saw what was happening, from afar I could see the enemy's red uniform overshadowing our blank uniform.
The huts were mostly on fire and so many dead bodies were lying around. The sight was more brutal than the pictures in the paintings and takes of the stories! Bile filled my gut, felt like vomiting but I swallowed and squared my shoulders.
I need to be strong! For my mother and my people.

“It wouldn’t be wise to lose to Queen’s in the same day without a heir “ said the Elite of Asgard in a flat tone.
“What do you mean?! “ I shouted ,choking on my voice while knight Luca tried to hold my arm .
“There…l he said pointing towards the city gates where the Queen’s flag was on fire and our men were running back.
I could smell the blood from up here, swords ,arrows and fires kept flying around .
“We have lost the battle”
“Mother?!” I asked choking
“I’m sorry My Queen”
“We lost her”
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!” I shouted with so much pain and anguish. My mother died in my birthday without saying goodbye and I’m helpless, I can’t even help her.
I could hear a bitter shout ,not wanting to believe it was mine ,I should be dead with her . Dead people can shout.
“My Queen, they have bridged the gates . You need to run, they want you!” Shouted the Elite as he tried to stir us back down the tower towards the royal exit underground tunnel.
“What do you mean ?! “ I asked, confused amidst my turmoiled mind and tear soiled face.
“It has to do with the secrets , I will tell you about it but the only thing you can do for the Queen you mother and Asgard , is to go into hiding and prepare for revenge “ he said looking straight into my eyes and I cleaned my face and shook my head.
“Go my Queen,I will handle things here while Knight Luca will go with you and guide you” Luca came off nowhere with my royal red cloak and a supply bag.
“Take care of Asgard for me, I will be back and get my mothers body!”
“I vow with my life” the Elite said, turning towards the Palace while Knight Luca led the way through the tunnel.
After running in endless darkness , we came out in an open field with Asgard behind us on fire , cries and wails Filling the atmosphere.
“We need to hurry, my Queen” said Luca . I took one long look at my home, the only place I have known before turning to go back but two men out of nowhere charged toward us.
Knight Kuca took them out while we continued running endlessly.
“Why don’t I have a sword?!” I shouted and before he could answer , two arrows were shot in front of us.
We turned to see a number of the army charging at us. Those people killed my mother !
The raw hatred for the Kingdom of Kansas that took my home away from me boiled down in my throat and I turned around and shouted not knowing what came over me.
Lifted my two hands up and charged towards them directing my energy and hatred with full force till I felt a power surge through me like some kind of electric fire went out of me and in an instant the whole surrounding around us shocked with great gravity.
When my breath calmed down , Knight Luca was staring at me with his mouth open and eye shot out. I looked at him to see the men all dead on the ground.
I looked at my hands , it was normal but felt hot , my hair felt hot and I felt some kind of way. I can’t explain it, just stood staring at Knight Luca who ran towards me.
“What was that your highness?”
“I don’t know?” I said, confused, this never happened to me.
“We need to keep moving,'' he said “ I nodded my head as we ran towards the forest with tall trees and mountains ahead of us.
Still couldn’t process what happened, my body getting dirty while I was sweating profusely . Suddenly thirsty and hungry, I should have eaten more at my celebration I thought while Knight Luca kept begging us to run foward .
Did I just performed magic? and why will the Kingdom of Kansas go against us? I kept wondering that I didn’t know when I hit my head to a tree ,falling back into Knight Luca’s arms.
“ It’s already dark, we should rest your highness “ he said, turning to look around the thick forest.
“What are you looking for?”
“Some bush animal for dinner your highness “
