After laying down on the bed, Imaleya takes her cell phone and she messages a friend on I*******m. Pedro meanwhile, was still standing and watching her with frowning eyebrows. He was so angry that he wanted to react immediately to put an end to this humiliation.

" How dare she spit in my face? " he whispered.

Suddenly, he turns around and walks towards Imaleya's bedroom door. Then he opens that door to go out when Imaleya asks him to come back to sleep. 

" Where are you going? You don't listen when I talk to you? I told you to sleep in my room to avoid my grandfather's wrath. " She added arrogantly.

Her eyes were fixed on Pedro and she was staring at him constantly. After Imaleya's words, Pedro froze for a moment. Then he turns to Imaleya and also stares at her impertinently. His heart was so heavy that he wanted to say something in order to have a clear conscience.

" You want to appease your grandfather's heart, right? Ok, that's good. But I won't accept that you humiliate me for him. So I'm going back to my room quietly and you won't stop me ." He finally replied after a moment of silence.

Then he comes out of Imaleya's room. This time he was fed up and he was ready to react no matter what. Being insulted all the time didn't make him happy. Imaleya, who hadn't expected this reaction from Pedro, was surprised. Her eyes widened and she was silent for a few seconds before pulling herself together.

" Who does he think he is? " She whispered.

Without making any more noise, she went back to bed.

••• THE NEXT MORNING •••

It was time to go to the office. Since she is the new CEO of the family business, Imaleya had to be ready before eight o'clock because she was going to meet the partners of the company and introduce herself to them. Her grandfather Suno SIMAO who was in the room was talking with the son-in-law Pedro.

" Normally you don't need to attend this meeting but I want you to go. Take note of everything that will be said during the meeting and after you will report to your wife who is the CEO. For this first day, I'll see how you're going to work together." Said Suno SIMAO with a serene tone.

" WOW! I don't know what to tell you except Thank you. I'm really moved, Mr. Suno." Pedro answered

" You don't need to thank me. I want you to be an excellent business adviser. Do your job well and prove to me that I was not wrong by giving you this job in the company." Added Suno SIMAO 

" Okay, I understand. Don't worry Mr. Suno. I won't disappoint you." Pedro replied enthusiastically.

He was suddenly in a good mood. He was very happy with this opportunity he had. Despite being happy; deep down, he knew he had to keep a low profile because of JIM SIMAO.

After a while, Imaleya goes to her grandfather's room. She meets Pedro and immediately she remembered the argument they had last night. Suddenly, she frowns and stares oddly at Pedro for a few seconds. Then, she continues her walk by getting closer to her grandfather Suno SIMAO. Once near the old man, Imaleya bends down to greet him.

" I'm finally ready to go to work." She said simply, looking at her grandfather Suno.

" That's very good my darling. Nevertheless, Pedro will accompany you." Suno SIMAO replied.

" Pedro? But why? Besides, I can go alone." She said.

Suddenly she squeezes her face to show that she was unhappy.

“ He is now the business advisor of the company. I want him to attend this meeting. That's all.” Suno SIMAO insisted with a firm tone.

Imaleya remained frozen and mute for a moment before relaxing.

" Okay grandfather. I understand " She answered finally with a smile.

She tried to smile for the sole purpose of impressing her grandfather. In fact, she was unhappy to have to put up with Pedro's presence on her first day at work. Then she gives her grandfather a hug and leaves her room. Pedro who was already dressed in a black jacket follows her.

“ Have a good day children.” Said Suno SIMAO watching Imaleya and Pedro leave.

Besides, Jim SIMAO was in his room talking with his wife Nikita Bellucci. Nikita did not appreciate the way her husband behaved towards Pedro and she tried to convince him so that he finally accepts Pedro in the SIMAO family. She knew her husband's true intentions and she wanted to prevent him from making a mistake he might regret later.

" I refuse to fold my arms and watch this idiot take advantage of our wealth. He's just an slave and nothing more." Jim was saying violently.

His voice echoed in the room and it made Nikita Bellucci's heart beat faster.

" He is the son-in-law of the SIMAO family. You have to accept him, honey. Besides, he has your father's support. Don't waste time trying to put him down all the time." Nikita Bellucci answered with a soft voice . 

This is how the conversation went between imaleya's parents until Jim decided to move on. Despite everything his wife said, his decision was unchanged. 

••• ONE HOUR AFTER •••

Pedro and Imaleya were at the meeting with the partners. Imaleya was introduced to the others as the new CEO and meanwhile Pedro was taking notes. He was doing exactly what Suno SIMAO demanded. After a while, a majority shareholder of the company spells out some issues they've been facing for a month. Imaleya took note of the situation but she didn't know what to answer. While the partners waited for her solution to solve the problem, she had her head down because it was a situation beyond her competence. It was at this moment that Pedro stood up under the permission of others and gave a very relevant solution. At the end of his speech, the associates applaud him and meanwhile, Imaleya had a tight face. Suddenly, she gets up and she slaps Pedro in front of everyone.

" Never talk again in our business meetings like that if I didn't allow you to speak. Your role is just to take notes." She added 

Then, she pushes Pedro who later finds himself on the ground. He was disoriented and his jacket immediately got stained.
