Get 20,000 dollars

Agler and Pooja return to the Dalton family residence. Upon entering the house, it turns out that they have been awaited by the entire Dalton family.

“How can you still dare to come to this house!” Dalton said, he glaring at Agler.

Agler and Pooja looked at each other, they didn't understand what Dalton meant. Then Pooja said “Papa, let my husband take a bath and have dinner first. After that you can talk to him again.”

“I will not allow him to enter my house again. I've cleaned up his clothes. Tonight, you must get out of this house!” Dalton handed him a bag containing Agler's clothes.

Of course Agler and Pooja were surprised to see that. "Papa, why are you kicking my husband like this?" Pooja said.

"Pooja! Stop defending your husband! Stop covering up his mistakes. We already know what he was doing at Jenny's laundry. And we also know that you paid 10,000 dollars for what he did. We see you work hard every day, but that loser man is just wasting your money. He doesn't deserve to be your husband! You'd better divorce him!" Dalton said.

“Daddy, stop insulting my husband like that. I know my husband is not a perfect man, but he is still my husband. Please respect him as your son-in-law!”

“I never approved of him as my son-in-law. Have you forgotten, the only one who approves of your marriage is your grandfather. And now that he's dead, I think your marriage should end too," Dalton said. Then he turned his head to Agler and said, “Hey, loser man! Get out of my house right now!”

Agler remained silent. He felt sad about his father-in-law's treatment, but he knew he couldn't do anything. But Pooja still tries to defend him. “If you throw him out of this house, then I will also get out of this house. I will go with my husband!” Pooja said.

"Ah! Stubborn woman! Ellena, bring your sister in!” Dalton ruled over his eldest daughter.

"Okay, Papa!" Ellena pulled Pooja's hand immediately, she was also assisted by Anthony.

Meanwhile Dalton pushed Agler's body out and locked the door.

"Pooja! Do not Cry honey! I promise I will pick you up as soon as possible. I'll be back, Pooja! Don't worry! I will be fine!" Agler replied. After that he ran because Dalton released his pet dog to chase Agler.

Agler walked the sidewalk alone. He didn't know where to go because he had nowhere to stay. Agler also had no family. Since childhood, he only lived in an orphanage. Then as an adult he was betrothed to Pooja by Pooja's grandfather named Daniel. When he first met Pooja, Agler immediately fell in love. Pooja is a beautiful and intelligent girl who is easily loved by men. Meanwhile, Pooja likes Agler because of Agler's humorous nature and always makes him laugh. Even after marriage, the two of them fought more often than making out.

It was a rainy night, Agler took shelter on the shop terrace. He fell asleep there wearing layers of clothes to feel warm.

The next morning, when Agler woke up, someone was standing in front of him.

“Are you the shop owner? I'm sorry that I slept on the terrace of your shop without asking permission first. But I'll clean it up soon," Agler said. He rushed to tidy up his bag and clothes.

“Sir, I am not a shop owner. My name is Ghani, I was ordered by Mr Davidson to look for you," the man named Ghani said to Agler.

“Mr Davidson? Who is he? Is he the shop owner? Is he going to report me to the police? Oh, please don't take me to him. I'm just sleeping on this terrace, I didn't do anything, I didn't break or steal anything," Agler pleaded.

“Mr Davidson is the owner of the biggest jewelry store in the city. You are the grandson he's been looking for all along."

Agler gaped at Ghani's words. A few minutes later, he immediately laughed. "Ha ha ha. You must be a YouTube content creator who likes making trap videos, right? Ah, I often watch shows like that. Where's the camera? Can I straighten my hair first?”

"I'm not a YouTube content creator, sir. I'm not making any videos either. I am the one Mr Davidson ordered to pick you up.”

Agler seemed to sigh, he was starting to feel annoyed with the attitude of the man named Ghani. “I may look like a stupid man, but I won't be fooled by you easily. I don't know the Mr Davidson you mentioned earlier. Don't brag by saying that I'm his missing grandson. After all, do you think I'm a keychain that can just disappear? Ah, you made my morning so bad.” Agler prepares to leave Ghani. But Ghani again intercepted his steps.

“Wait a moment, sir. Alright, I understand if you're still so shocked by all this that you can't believe what I'm saying. I won't force you. But you can come to see Mr. Davidson by yourself. Trust me, he's really looking forward to your arrival. This is his home address, and this is a present for you." Ghani handed him a paper bag and a piece of paper. After that he left before Agler.

"Hey! I'm not going to see him! Tell him that he's just wasting time if he waits for me!" Agler shouted. But Ghani had already left in his car.

“Why are there too many annoying people in this world? What paper is this? I do not need!" Agler threw away the paper containing the address. He also wanted to throw away the paperbag that Ghani had given him, but when he wanted to throw it in the trash, Agler saw that there was a lot of money in the paperbag.

"Oh my God! Is this real money?” Agler's eyes immediately widened. He rushed to check the money and it turned out to be real money. Agler counted the numbers. 20,000 dollars. Agler's eyes widened even more. He patted himself on the cheek for fear it was all a dream. But apparently he wasn't dreaming, it was real, the money was real.

At the night, Agler back to his in law’s house. He came wearing new clothes, he even cut his hair so he looked more manly than before. He knocked the door. Not long after, the door was opened by Dalton.

“Good night, Papa-in-law!” Agler greeted his father-in-law with a big smile.

While Dalton just glared at him. “Why did you come back here again, huh? I already kicked you out. You are the shameless man!" Dalton snapped.

“I'm here to meet my wife—”

“I won't let you meet my daughter—”

“But your daughter is my wife—”

Dalton appeared to enter the house and then came back with divorce papers for Agler. "Please Sign this divorce papers, after that don't call her your wife again!" Dalton insisted.

“Hmmm, sorry Papa-in-law, I can't sign the letter, because I don't want to divorce Pooja. Please let me meet Pooja—”

“Get out of my house right now!”

Agler took the money out of the paper bag he was carrying and then gave it to his father-in-law. “This is for you, Papa!” he said.

Dalton stared at the money. “I-is this real money?” Dalton immediately checked. "Where did you get this much money?"

"Of course I got it because I've been working," Agler replied.

"Did you steal other people's money?"

“Hmm, Papa, have you ever seen a thief with a face as cute as mine? I've never stolen in my life, that's a bad job, I never did. So, can I meet Pooja now?”

"Y-yes, you can meet her," Dalton said when He was still busy checking the money his son-in-law gave him. "Ohh, it's 5000 dollars and he gave it to me for free," he muttered, still feeling surprised.
