The predators were everything dreadful in Twillightoria. They ruled the world of crime, and they had links with the men in power. Anyone they protected was safe, but anyone they stood against would face the entire opposite of everything safety meant.

The law could not hold them down, neither could the people defy them. The government were in league with them, and their allies spread far and wide, within and away from Twillightoria.

Which was why they hated Crescent, the only street in Twillightoria that could stand against their unrivalled authority. Every town and hood that surrounded Crescent shared the same defiance as them, and they all stood together against the world
