Chapter Forty-Nine: Where Have You Been?

CLENCHING his jaw, Paxton stood up and quickly got a coat to wear.

“Where are you?” he asked.

“What the hell, really? Who’s this? Paxton? Damn! I'm sure this is a hoax…” Darius said from the other line.

“Where the hell are you?!” he shouted.

But instead of answering his question, Darius ended the call leaving him no choice but to call Red to ask him to track down Lorelei’s phone number.

He was so mad right now. Imagining that they are together, it's boiling his head. And his girlfriend? They are still married and the conversation between him and Lorelei was still fine although he can feel that Lorelei was sulking some time. He knows that his wife won’t cheat on him. And that he has trust towards Lorelei; but not to Darius.

In his car, Red sent him Lorelei's location which is at a five star hotel. That made him more nervous. Why are they in a hotel together? What are they up to?
