Everyone in the family was shocked, they thought Daniel was here to take advantage of them, but Daniel didn’t.

Murmurs echoed in the room.

"I thought he was there to marry Samira" said a voice.

"So he's here to cancel the contract? Unbelievable!" Added another voice.

"This young man is truly a man with dignity, he is not here for Lord's money"

"It's rare to see people like that these days, very rare even, you could even say impossible" .

“I think he said that to see our different reactions”.

 Aris said sarcastically: " Daniel you just pretended to do this, so that you would get more from my family , so that you could get married to Samira. Am i right?" 

Daniel's face darkened and he said angrily: " that's not true, you're wrong. I don't know what you mean. "

"You know very well what I mean, don't play dumb. You were planning this whole time, it's obvious." Aris was clearly angry now.

"Aris! You're speaking nonsense. I don't need your money, I came here to regret the contract".

Had he really come to break the contract? Or for another reason?

"Regret the contract? Regret the contract? How dare you!" Aris raised his voice "you bastard! I know people like you . You don't care about anyone, you just care about yourself!"

Everyone in the room was shocked and quiet, they couldn't believe what they were hearing. They never thought Daniel could turn into a monster.

Was Daniel a selfish liar? In the end, wasn't he doing all this just for their money?

"You don't know anything about me and I don't know anything about you. So stop spreading rumours, I am not a bad person . Don't judge me by your own standards" Daniel said angry. 

The eldest son Jules stood up and said: "Enough! Enough! You've made your point, so shut up already."

Daniel looked at everyone in the room and said: "I came here to regret the contract because I didn't want to marry Samira ever since she was born and I was born. I don't even know who she is, just that her name is Samira Wilson, but that's all."

Everyone was silent; they couldn't believe what they were hearing.

"I don't want to be a husband anymore, I don't want to be a father either. I am sorry to all of you."

Everyone stared at Daniel, speechless and he continued "It doesn't matter now. The contract marriage is annulled." Daniel said.

Everyone was silent again.

Daniel said disappointed: "I can't believe that some people can think like this, I came here to cancel this marriage contract and not to take advantage of you , I'm not that kind of people" .

Lady Wilson said calmy: "I'm sorry my dear Daniel, but you should have known that, there are some things that you can't change once they are set in stone. There is nothing that we can do now, except to accept it."

Everyone kept silent Daniel was about to leave, but the lord of the family stopped him, he said:" don't go Daniel, i would like to offer you a work my son" .

The lord proposed because he thought after being kicked out of the family, Daniel would be very poor.

Daniel was going to reject, but he reminded his target to be here. Not only just break the marriage contract, but also protect this family, because when he was kicked out of his own family, the lord helped him a lot. So he had to repay this debt. He accepted the job that was offered to him.

"Ok, i will do it. " He agreed so he will be near to the family and protect them.

Aris who was waiting for this laughed, and said :" i was right, Daniel , you was just pretending to break the marriage contract when you want our money. You are just pathetic , pathetic" He mocked Daniel. 

"Aris shut up ! Stop talk nonsense. No, no. Daniel is an important person for us, he will have a high position in this family whether you want it or not." The lord said firmly. Then the lord Turned to Daniel and said: "please don't listen to him. My son is stubborn, when he has an idea in his head, it's impossible to take it away from him. Don't listen to him. So please just let him speak."

" Don't worry about me lord, He can say whatever he wants. I know what I'm worth, I'm a good person, and no one can make me believe otherwise" Daniel said confidently. 

Aris continued to sneer "I was right, you're a liar and a profiteer, you jumped at the first chance my dad gave you. That's really ridiculous. , look how you coax my dad, luckily I know you, you can't do that to me. Never you sly!” he said all this while looking at him with disgust. Aris's words did not affect Daniel, those words were like wind.

 Daniel had a high regard for himself, and that was normal, because it was this education he had received from Master Baki, always being true, honest and straight in everything. He had received an education whose values ​​and dignity were the pillars. For him it was better to die than to flout his dignity.

Then the Lord took a business card from his pocket, handed it to Daniel and told him:" take it! It's a business card of BKT Enterprise, go there tomorrow to get a job " .

" Okay lord ! Thanks for your help! " Daniel took the business card and agreed .

" You are welcome my son ! You deserve it ! You are a good person. May God bless you my son !" 

" May God bless you too lord . I'm gonna go , Thanks again! " Daniel thanked him and left.

After he left the room, Jules, Aris and Samira , lord started arguing again.

"What did you say? You think we should hire this man? He is an outsider, how can we trust him? He is not even a member of this family, so how can we give him a big role in our business?" Jules argued.

Samira was confused and surprised, she couldn't believe her ears. She thought Daniel was really here to cancel the marriage contract, but now she heard that he wanted to be part of the family.

"You think I'm stupid? Why would I marry someone I don't know?"she asked.

"What's the matter with you? You just made a fool of yourself in front of everyone!" Aris mocked 

" me ? ridicule me? Haha! What a joke!" Samira laughed.

"Hey! What are you laughing about!? " Aris shouted.

" Because you are an idiot" samira replied.

Aris laughed and samira ask :" you what are you laughing about? Don't tell me you're laughing because he wants a job from us, are you kidding me! That's ridiculous! I am not marrying him just so that I can give him a job! Please, you're lying to me!"

Jules interrupted. " A job? We're giving him a job? How can you be so stupid? You're an idiot, you want to make a fool of us, right? Hahaha".

Samira got angry and said: "Shut up Jules and Aris! You guys are the ones who are making fools of yourselves in front of everyone! You can stop pretending like you're smart, and pretend like you didn't hear what I said, because you knew that it's true, didn't you? This is just too funny!"

Samira was enjoying the moment of watching her brothers arguing.

Everyone was silent for a while. Then finally the lord spoke: "We have to give this guy a chance, he deserves it."

Everyone agreed.
