Chapter 33: Forced to Beg

The project manager's stern and forceful words had crushed Granny Smith's last hope. She could do nothing else except obey the project manager's advice.

"All right, my family and I will leave here, but please don't be hasty; there's still something we need to prepare first," said Granny Smith trying to buy time so that Robert could disguise his whereabouts.

Dylan, who overheard his mother's conversation with the manager, asked her, "If we leave here, where should we live, sir?"

"That's none of our business. We work under orders, and I carried them out right now, so I apologise if I've caused you any trouble," The man replied politely and as gently as he could when speaking to Dylan, who was older than him.

"Well, we understand," he said weakly.

Moments later, the five of them were back on the streets, and Robert had disguised his appearance. He took the suit he was wearing, put it on backwards, and then used it to cover his head.
