				NEW MOVES AND GREATER PLANS!

"What? That's not possible!" Henry exclaimed loudly. His assistant, Luke stood opposite his desk with his head bowed.Henry laughed, leaning into his chair. "You're joking, right?"Luke shook his head, showing him his sources. "I'm afraid I'm not, sir. Miss Tracy really has become the head of her family's alchemy business."Henry stared at the phone in shock. His palms clenched into fists. "What's she playing at? How can she be the head of such a huge business?" He demanded, trying to mask his nervousness with rage. This was not good.Tracy was rising too fast and he could tell that she had an intention behind her suddenly rising."Leave my office," he snapped at Luke who immediately scampered out of his office in relief, seeing his rage.Henry stood up and paced round his office, breathing heavily and cursing under his breath. She had not even responded to his text message despite how irresistibly he had crafted it.He picked up his phone again.Of course he had to meet with Tracy so
DO NOT OFFEND THE URBAN GRANDMASTER

Lucian froze at the words of the stranger. He pulled the phone away from his ears for a second to confirm who was calling him but it was a strange number."Who is this, please?""I'm missing Tracy's assistant, sir."Lucian paused. He had heard the news about Tracy resuming her position as the head of her family's business. This was a confirmation for him.He had many questions about why Tracy was in trouble but he only asked one."What happened to her?"The voice on the other end of the line sounded breathless."She went out with Mr. Henry Brown and she asked me to reach out to someone if I suspected something is wrong. It's been over three hours and I haven't seen her."Lucian immediately stood up. "Send me the location."As the call ended, he turned to Elsa with an apologetic look."I'll be back soon, Elsa. A matter just arose and I need to deal with it."Elsa smiled, shrugging. "It's fine. Thank you so much for the best birthday gift ever!"Lucian gave her a warm smile before rushi
				RESCUING HIS EX

Lucian and Aurora stepped out of the building with Tracy, shivering in Lucian's arms.Lucian still hasn't spoken to her yet.He felt displeased with her. What stupid relationship did she have with Henry that she would give up her life for?Why didn't she just let him finish him off?Did she want him to come back and attack her again or did she just never learn her lesson? He squeezed his fingers into a knuckle but said nothing."Lucian, thank you," he heard Tracy's frail voice by his side. She wore a small appreciative smile.Lucian only nodded, saying nothing. She stared at the side of his face, wondering. She didn't know what else to say to ease the obvious tension between her and Lucian. She had expected the cops or her brother but Lucian came instead. How did he know that something was wrong with her?Why did he save her despite all she had done to him?Did he still have feelings for her or something?Where did he even learn to fight like that? She recalled the bodies of the guard
				HE WOULD MAKE THEM LAY

Lucian stood for a split second, wondering who the caller was.Aurora turned to him. “Is there a problem, sir?”Lucian shook his head. “No. We have work to do.”Tracy stared from him to the lady he had come with. She wondered why the lady called him sir repeatedly through their journey, but she kept mute.“I have to go now, Tracy. Take care of yourself and do not forget all I told you. Think about it. You deserve better.”Tracy felt like a part of her was leaving as Lucian bade her farewell. Her eyes grew teary, but she suppressed the tears. Just how many women did he have in his life? Was he even with any of them? The more she saw the women around him, the more she felt her chances of him coming back to her were slimming down. Yet she remained grateful that he came through for her at the very last minute.Lucian entered the mansion that had been described to them. The afternoon light streamed through tall glass panes, throwing golden stripes across the marble floor."I didn't think

Lucian stepped back into the house. The cure of the Aphrodisiac must have settled down in Amelia's body."Now I can give her the cure for the poison. This time it wouldn't affect her."Lucian was not confused about what to do.He knew the exact antidote to the poison that was slowly eating Amelia up. It was something he always made sure to have in his box, a precaution born from too many close calls. He continued searching through his tool box until he retrieved a vial from it. The glass shimmered faintly, the liquid inside a metallic silver that caught the light from the chandeliers above.Amelia was barely managing to stay conscious now. Her lips trembled as she spoke.“I want to sleep, Lucian,” she mumbled weakly. But Lucian objected sharply. “You cannot afford to do that. Just try to keep your eyes open for me. Look at me.”He knew that if she fell asleep the poison would have room to spread, worsening her state. The chances of her waking up again were very slim.“Remove the burne
SHE WENT AND DID IT AGAIN!

Tracy sat at her desk, rummaging through the document her assistant had put together for her. There were a couple of alchemist companies that her assistant had put together, along with all the information that she needed to know about them. The file also contained a detailed list of alchemists who supplied rare potions, as well as weapon suppliers who traded discreetly with private clients. Names, numbers, secret contacts, and coded prices filled the pages. “There’s a whole network here,” she murmured, flipping through the thick stack. “Alchemist companies… individual potion makers… and even weapon suppliers.” She tapped a page with a pen. “Half of these names are coded, How would I find this people?"Her assistant peeked through the door. “That’s the cleanest list I could get, ma’am. Potions, rare metals, custom weapons. Everything connects if you look close enough.”Tracy nodded, distracted. “Good work. I’ll study them later.” She tried to focus on the list again, tracing the na
				ENTERING INTO A HOT MESS!

Tracy knew she was in a hot mess! Her heart thudded against her ribs as she stood there, realizing how badly she had trapped herself. The air in the office felt heavy, like every breath carried warning. She wished she had never come to Mr. Brown's office in the first place.Little wonder she had been let through without any real questioning. The receptionist’s casual smile now felt like part of a bigger trap.It was like Mr. Brown was waiting eagerly for her to come, like prey walking willingly into a predator's den. The room itself looked like it belonged to someone who enjoyed power. Rich curtains framed tall windows, and the polished desk reflected the ceiling light. The scent of strong cologne hung faintly in the air, mixing with the tension that swirled around her."Mr. Brown, I don't wish to fight against you. All I'm asking is that you let Lucian go. Henry is obviously the one at fault."She insisted, her voice trembling despite how hard she tried to hold it steady.Mr. Brown l

Tracy's assistant, Martha, was getting worried."Oh Miss Tracy, what has happened to you?" She didn't know what to do anymore. It had been hours on end and yet Tracy had not returned. It was almost even closing hours. Then a notification appeared and it was a video!"Oh my goodness. Miss Tracy, why is that man still doing a video?"She had tried Tracy's line over and over again but it was unavailable, continually going to voicemail. Her thumb hovered over the screen, the faint reflection of her anxious face staring back at her.Her mind raced as she paced to and fro in her office, staring at Tracy's empty one that sat across from her, silent and neat, the swivel chair turned slightly as though Tracy might walk in at any second.Martha rubbed her palms against her skirt, trying to shake off the tight feeling in her chest. She could not just stay here and do nothing. She had to help Tracy.Soon, her eyes lit up. She could tell Blake. After all, he was her brother. He would be able to h
WRATH OF THE URBAN GRANDMASTER I

Lucian stood in front of Tracy, body coiled, eyes sharp and calculating. His eyes turned to the tear on her lips and blood rushed to his head. How dare this man touch her?!Every muscle in him was ready to spring. The faint hum of the air conditioner was the only sound in the tense silence that had descended upon the office. Mr. Brown’s fingers twitched on the trigger, knuckles white, jaw tight. Tracy’s hands strained against the ropes, but she stayed frozen, knowing one wrong move could cost them everything.“You came faster than I expected,” Mr. Brown said, voice smooth but dangerous. “I warned you not to interfere in my family’s affairs.”Lucian took another measured step forward, his eyes never leaving the gun. “And I warned you to stay away from people who do not belong to you.”Brown’s lips curled into a harsh grin. “You think your threats scare me? This is my domain, my rules.”A guard lunged from the side. Lucian moved before he could even blink, twisting the man’s arm and
WRATH OF THE URBAN GRANDMASTER II

(Flashback)While Lucian was putting his clothes on, getting ready to save Tracy, he made a call to his friend.A deep yet cheerful voice came on the other end of the line. “Lucian my guy! What is up? To what do I owe this honour of receiving your call?”“Rogue, what is good? I need your help and it is quite urgent.”“Sure. Whatever you want. I am at your service.”Lucian told him all the details about what had happened to Tracy and how she was being held captive.“I need you to help me rescue her just in case I do not get there fast enough.”Rogue's voice had become deadly calm as he responded. “Consider it done, Lucian. Your enemy is as good as mine.”(Flashback ends)Lucian smirked as Rogue gave him a salute before stepping into his sleek black car and preparing to move. Lucian made a mental note to appreciate him later.By the time he turned his attention back to Tracy, she was being led toward the gate by her secretary, Martha. Anger surged through him, sharper now that he could
