Hearing that, John takes in a sharp breath as he turns to his son. His eyes are sunk in with disappointment. "What have you done, Trevor?!" He barks at the brat. "I'm sorry, Dad, I didn't know that he is Lord Snow. I mean, put yourself in my shoes. I've known him to be nothing but a cripple, and now he's so rich?!" John Plummer is so blinded by his rage that he raises his hand and gives Trevor such a hard slap. Trevor falls against the wall with a painful grunt and when he feels his lower lip, there is a stinging pain and the redness of blood. No words are enough to convey his disappointment in his son. John Plummer has a small family. Two sons only a year apart, and a wife that died after five years of marriage. He mourned so hard for his dear wife, but he refused to take a break when the late Lord Snow asked him to do so to grieve. Life was hard, but he managed to raise his sons well and keep on being so good at his job. Gerald, his other son chose to go on to become a sc

Hearing this, Stanley lets out a little chuckle that makes all of the workers turn around with frowns. "What's so funny to you, Mister Adkins?" "I just heard that you are keeping the last spot for the new Lord Snow." "Well, yes, as his father was our most important client, and so will his son be." Now, Stanley's amusement grows even more. The irony of it all! "Okay, Mister Adkins, now that you can see that we can't serve you because you come from a poor family, and you can't afford us, can you leave?" "Leave?" Stanley frowns. "Yes! Martin Tradeux is going to be here in a few minutes and he will not be happy to see a peasant here!" They've already opened the door, and they look like they are going to hold him over their heads and throw him out. Stanley just shrugs as he walks to the door, but as at that moment, a man walks with a heavy portfolio in his arms. He is in his mid twenties, just like Stanley, and he is drop dead gorgeous. The cheeks of the female attendants turn p

This has been a very successful meeting with Martin Tradeux that when Stanley finally leaves, it's already dark outside and the gray skies have started to release a little rain. Stanley sighs, cursing himself under his breath. His phone is dead, and he has not brought any cash with him. The kind of debit cards he has doesn't work on roadside ATMs, so what's he going to do now? He has two bags with him, and he decides to walk down the street for a bit. Maybe one of the banks will still be open, so that he can withdraw some money...Poor Stanley is just so worried about getting home that he doesn't pay enough attention to his surroundings. He would have seen that about four street thieves has targeted him, and they are making beelines to him. Once he gets to a dark corner, he gets surrounded by them, and that's when he notices the sharp and shiny blades in their clenched fists. Stanley raises his hands to show that he doesn't mean any trouble, and he starts to back away, but unf

When Stanley returns to the house and breaks the news to John Plummer, the poor old man almost has a heart attack. "Please, young Master, please tell me that you are pranking me!" "No, Johnny, I'm serious. I've found you an under butler." Stanley tells him with a satisfied smile. They are up the stairs, but from there, they both get a clear vision of Seven, who is seated downstairs....He is turning his neck this way and that, checking out the expensive mansion, but he is also smoking, which causes John Plummer to be highly irritated. "Lord Snow, this man can't be the one to replace me! Look at how rough and unkempt he is!" John complains. "How are we sure that he is not going to rob us the first chance he gets when you are the richest man in the world." Stanley looks at Seven, but he can't see the bad things that John is desperately trying to point out. "He is not that kind of person, John, trust me on this. Now, I have things to do, so you better give him the talks on how to

Now that Seven is an official employee of the family, the first thing that John gets him is a few suits. Seven admires the navy blue material as he turns to stare even longer at the fine cuts on his outfit. "Wow," he snorts, but with twinkles of genuine happiness in his eyes. "This might just be the nicest thing I have ever had in my life," "Well, all Lord Snows have the reputation of taking care of their employees very well." John says. "Just remember all that I have told you." Seven gives a massive roll of his eyes. Since last night, John Plummer won't even allow him to sleep. He has to fill him on the endless list of dos and don'ts that are expected of a Snow butler. A soft knock comes on the door and a servant girl peers in. "Sir, Lord Snow will see both of you now." Stan is dead having breakfast and catching up on his morning paper when both men walk into the room. John Plummer, who is the more experienced butler, bows deeply. "Good morning, sir," He glares at Seven,

"Oh, look at it. The loser, Stanley Adkins!" Everyone is overwhelmed with the rude behavior of this man, but when Seven wants to march towards him to teach him a lesson, Stanley stops it. "It's alright, he's my ex brother-in-law," Stanley explains. Seven eyes widens. He wants to ask questions, but he stops himself. Andrew circles around Stanley, snorting with contempt. "I see that you have abandoned your wheelchair and taken up a stick." "You can stop with the mockery, Andrew, I'm no longer lame," Stanley answers him. "By the grace of a powerful Doctor, I can work." "And how were you able to pay for such treatment?" Andrew wonders. "Do you know you have a big debt on your head because you took out a loan to gain your ability to walk again? Was it all to spite my sister?" Stanley looks down with a heave. "Emerald? The truth is that she has not crossed my mind in a long while." But Andrew throws his head back and lets out a loud ring of laughter. "Oh, Stanley, stop with the li

CEO Tanks freeze with confusion at first, turning his head this way and that, like Lord Snow, is now a pin that will be hard to see at first glance. "Sir, what are you saying? Of course I would have known if Lord Snow was in front of me!" Seven, being the impatient man that he is, he grabs the fat man's neck and pushes him to the ground. John Plummer walks to the man and growls at him. "What is wrong with all of you? Why do you keep shooting yourselves in the foot?" John Plummer turns to Stanley and bows. "Sorry that I disobeyed you, my Lord. I was worried that they would not accept you so easily." Stanley crosses his legs. "I was counting on that, John, and look, everything has fallen into place for me." Paris eyes are as wide as saucers, it's like she is watching the most mind-blowing movie of her life. The man she has helped and felt so much pity for, is Lord Snow?!She immediately glues her eyes to the ground and hopes that she doesn't get noticed. Thankfully, CEO Tanks is

Hearing the uproar comes from downstairs, Andrew Hudson smile widens and he sits even more comfortably. Lord Snow is finally here, and he is going to soon ask to see him. His political opponents are going to shit themselves once the pictures of him and Lord Snow makes it to the internet. He is going to become mayor by a landslide! Suddenly, the door bursts open and even though Andrew is expecting Tanks' secretary, it's Seven that comes inside, cracking his knuckles. "Oh," Andrew stands up and causally finishes up his champagne from the glass. "Is Lord Snow here?" "He is." "I thought you were only a friend to that loser, Stanley Adkins? Do you run errands for Lord Snow now?" He shrugs the verbal thought anyways, "It doesn't matter, tell him that I am ready to see him." "You're right, I am here on the orders of Lord Snow, but he has said that he has no interest in seeing you. He wants you to leave immediately," Andrew snorts, he is not going to believe this. "Yeah, Lord Snow

Joseph Tanks drives like a crazy person to his Aunt and Uncle's house. The mansion is swarming with servants and high-taste architectural style, showing the luxurious lifestyle of the extended Snow family. His Uncle and Aunt are watching the television and sipping on some wine when he walks in, chest heaving like he has completed a marathon. "Joseph, I was supposed to call you," his Aunt says without looking at him. "It's on the news that the stupid boy showed up today after eight whole years?!" "I thought he was dead!" His Uncle shakes his head. "That stupid butler told us that the boy is missing. Who goes missing after eight years to then show up again?!" A normal person would have said that they should be happy that their nephew has returned unharmed, but when a lot of money and power is involved in the Snow family, it's a cutthroat kind of affair. Even though they don't have large access to the wealth of Stanford Snow, they have been controlling a part of the Snow empire. T

"Who does he think he is to make such a demand?!" Before John can blink, the couple has rounded up all their security. "That cowardly bastard. He has chosen not to show his face here, but to send people to do his dirty work! The instant that he comes here, you are to beat him up very mercilessly!" Aunt Meg tells them. The servants look at each other and nod, trying to hide the anxiety on their faces. If they get charged with assaulting someone, best believe madam and the boss won't do anything to help them out of jail! "But ma'am, how are we supposed to know him?" Yes, Meg and Roman don't know what he looks like, so they turn to Joseph Tanks. "Joseph, go on. Tell them what he looks like!" Joseph swallows a gulp, "Auntie, I don't think I can remember. I was so stricken with fear at the evilness he showed me, I forgot his face!" Aunt Meg scowls, holding herself back from insulting her nephew. John hasn't gone anywhere just yet. To be honest, he feels pity for them because the
