With sadness, Fernando went home, to shower up, before leaving for work. He was so confused and restless as Olivia's statement kept repeating itself in his head.

Was she joking or serious?

That's what Fernando couldn't tell, and if it turns out to be true, then he is done with her. He would pay her for the little service she had rendered to him and let her go.

Stepping inside the store, Fernando's gaze met Mr. Lucas, who was attending to the numerous customers before him.

With a frowning face, Fernando walked up to the counter. He managed to smile at the customers who were staring at him as if they had not seen an obese man before.

Ignoring them, Fernando mumbled some words of greetings to Mr. Lucas, but he didn't respond because he was too occupied to pay attention to his greetings. He can do that later.

After positioning himself, Fernando shut his eyes and took in a deep breath, and breathed out, before opening his eyes.
