The Surprise

"Do you really think this is necessary?"

I argued, not sure of what else to say. Of course I was been beaten by curiosity as well as anxiety, but both had pressed on me so greatly that I was beginning to feel uncomfortable. 

"We're almost there. You don't have to worry, as soon as I park the car, you'll be in my arms all the way through, till we get to where we are going."

He explained. But I kept up the pace of the argument,

"But really, Albert. It's already night. Having a blindfold on me makes no difference."

I could feel a silhouette eating me up as he pressed his lips on my cheek. 

"To me, it matters. Just trust me, baby."

There was plea in his tone and I wasn't ready to prove further. 

"Fine."

I muttered, even though twasnt enough. I wanted to tell him to kiss me in the lips to shut me up but I let the urge slide.
