“Where are you going, son? I thought we would spend Christmas together?” Zafron asked. Even if Hunter doesn’t say it, he can see how anxious his son is.

“I have to take care of something important, dad. I’ll be back before midnight,” Hunter said; he didn’t bother to wear his suit, and proceeded to vest himself with his thick sweater, “Ala, makes yourself feel at home, doesn’t mind me, and just stick with them, I’ll be back before you knew it,”

Matthew and Estella’s exchange looks upon hearing that; they both knew they would only say that if it’s a matter of life and death.

“I can come with you,” Matthew offered and was about to stand up when Hunter shook his head.
