At the chabudai in Bai chen's house, three fugures were happily having the dinner, they were Bai quing, Bai chen and Bai Hina. The atmosphere was very warm and they were chatting happily while having dinner.

The candles that illuminated the room made the moment even more wholesome.

Bai chen was especially happy today, after all the last when all three of them had dinner together was half a month ago.

Why a half a month ago you ask?

Because a conflict broke out and the situation was not in a very good state and it needed him to personally go there to handle the situation.

Apparently Karatachi Family and Bai clan had a conflict of interest which led to form tensions between two clans. At starting the conflict was only some small skirmishes and cursing at each other, but a big fight broke out between a scout team from both clan which caused death of an elders direct descendent from the enemy clan. This caused Bai clan to experience a huge backlash from Karatachi Family and the situation got out of control.

As for reason due to which the tension arose between them, he has no knowledge about it.

Well, back to the current scene.

While the dinner was about to end, Bai chen put his chopsticks down , looked at his father and said with a serious expression and said

"Dad, I want to ask for something."

Hearing Bai chen's words, Bai quing looked at him and saw his serious expression, seeing that Bai chen wanted to talk about something serious, Bai quing also stopped eating, put down his chop sticks and looked at his son, waiting for him to continue.

On Bai quing's side, Hina was also curious about what Bai chen wanted to ask for, so she was also looking towards Bai chen.

After a few seconds silence Bai chen finally spoke what was in his mind.

"I need Chakra Metal so that I can forge my own weapon with it."

'Chakra Metal?' Hearing Bai chen's words, Bai quing and Hina couldn't help but look at each other, they really didn't think that Bai chen would suddenly ask for chakra metal.

They knew the value of chakra metal or weapons made with it, even they both only have one for each, there are number ninjas in Bai clan carrying a chakra blade with them but that still didn't downgrades its value and Bai clan was only able to get such resources due to its power and connections, in Land of Water, medium clans may be luckly able to get a few but small clans would be happy even if they could get one or two.

Remember, its still sengoku era and there isn't much development in trade going on between different countries, even more so with countries like Land of Water which is isolated from the rest. Even a big country like Land of Water is divided into different states, with each having their own Daimyo, there is no single Daimyo system like future and these states are also in conflict with each other which makes trade of rare items more difficult. Once someone get these resources they would not be handed out easily.

Though Bai quing can give some to Bai chen and it would not create any problem for him but then it would be unfair to those people who work hard and put their lives on line to earn these things and Bai quing doesn't want these unfair practices in Bai clan. Moreover, he has already been biased enough by preventing Bai chen from going to war.

A few seconds and Bai quing answer was pretty much clear to him. Although his answer would disappoint Bai chen but he couldn't go against his principles anymore. On his side, Hina who knew Bai quing the best also knew what choice her husband would make.

"I'm sorry son, abou-"

Bai quing had just started speaking but Bai chen interrupted him before he could finish his sentence. He had already guessed earlier that his father may not agree this time.

"Of course I was not going ask for chakra metal for free, I can also make a great contribution to the clan."

'Contribute to the clan?' Bai quing couldn't understand what his son was talking about and had a frown on his face. As far as he thinks, Bai chen shouldn't have anything through which can be make a great contribution. "Yes and the it is an A-rank ninjutsu."

Hearing Bai chen's words, Bai quing and Hina, both couldn't help but suck in cold air. A-rank ninjutsu? You know, even in their Bai clan there are only three A-rank ninjutsu and here Bai chen is telling them that he want to exchange one for Chakra Metal.

'Is this a joke? It must be right, there's no way that a seven year can create an A-rank ninjutsu'

They know how hard it is to create a new technique, it takes up to years of research for people to create a technique and any small mistake in the process can result in a complete failure and even death.

So, it was hard, not just for them but even for others to believe if they heard that a seven-year-old-kid has created such high rank technique.

"And what I said is absolutely true, I am not joking. The name the jutsu which I created is 'Rasengan'."
