It was a sunny day on a small island named Biol somewhere in the Mediterranean sea, the island was surrounded by other mostly inhabitant islands, all those islands belong to the country Kesio, the island was a colony of the English empire that was never conquered by any other country, the chain of islands are now one separate small country, the island didn't have too many fancy shops or malls it had the essentials for survival and some other stores for entertainment

The summer break has just ended, once again every kid walked to their school, the school bell was about to ring, a bunch of kids arrived at the school, the school was a mixture of junior and high school, the island didn't have too many students so it wouldn't be beneficial if they made 2 separate schools, after some minutes the bell rang and slowly every student gathered at the schoolyard

"Good morning kids! Welcome to another happy school year, I hope we can all get along with each other and make sure you are kind to your new teachers, also I want to mention that actions like those that happened the last years will be unacceptable, I'm sure everyone knows what I'm talking about"

said the principal, with a fixated look on the first years of high school

"Anyway, I don't want to start the year with a negative attitude, so let's skip this part, all of you enter your classrooms, pick your desks and wait in the classroom so you can meet your new teachers"

all the kids started to walk inside the school, on their way in an incident happened

"Hey look who decided to come out of his shit-cave"

a group of male kids surrounded a boy, the boy seemed annoyed

"What do you want Floga? I didn't do anything to you!"

the boy told him as he was glaring at him, the boy quickly got slapped by Floga, the other members of the group were blocking everything so the teachers couldn't see them

"Why do you look at me like that you bastard!!! it has been 3 months Luck and it seems like you forgot who rules here!"

Floga told him angrily, the group was looking at Luck with a smug

'damn you all! what happened? we used to be friends'

Luck thought as he was getting beaten up, after a little time they left Luck alone and went inside the school, Luck quickly recovered and walked into the school

'I hope the teachers won't notice this...'

Luck thought, eventually he entered the school and the day continued as if nothing happened...

"So this is the place? looks pretty nice, I hope they have good food too!"

said a beautiful girl with long white hair she also had beautiful red eyes as she looked at the island of Biol from a neighboring island, this island is the main source of income for Biol since this island is a huge worldwide salt-making place with a bunch of salt caves

"If I remember correctly Kamira told me that there was a sudden appearance of mana on this island, I can feel it from the big island but this one barely has any mana presence, maybe she confused the islands..."

before the girl could leave she was trapped in a mana zone, mana zone is a big mana-generated place that can either appear at random or a person can create it, people mainly use them so they can fight against other mana users, on this occasion it was a manmade, 2 men created this mana zone

"Who are you and what are you doing here?"

one of the men asked the girl

"Do you by any chance sell illegal equipment here?"

the girl ignored his question by asking one herself

"I ask the questions missy not you! so quickly speak before we attack you!"

the man said

"I will give you another chance to admit that you are the criminals, if you don't I will simply have to force you to say it, and keep in mind if you attack me I will defend myself, so don't blame me if you die in the process"

the 2 men hesitated for a moment but in the end, they still attacked, but before they attacked they mumbled something to each other

"She works for UMP let's attack her, I will attack from the right you attack her from the left"

the 2 men then initiated an attack and charged at the girl

"Don't tell me I didn't warn you"

the girl said with a smile on her face, she then proceeded to crush one of the man's skulls with a single punch, she was so fast that the man couldn't even react, this shocked the other man, he then fell to the ground from fear

"Please spare me! I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry..."

the man begged, he wasn't spared, the girl slashed him in half with a wave of air, after that the girl broke out of the mana zone, the whole place was clean as if nothing had happened all thanks to the mana zone

"Now that this problem is solved I have to locate the equipment"

she said, she then closed her eyes and raised her hands, a small sphere appeared and she then made it as huge as the whole island it was something like a force field, after some seconds she located them, and in a flash, she ran to their location, it was a small salt cave, she quickly arrived and searched around with a similar force field as before

'it must be underground'

she thought, she then conjured some kind of a huge shovel and started to dig, not long after she found a crate

"Here it is, now let's see what they were hiding"

she said as she opened the crate, the crate contained some kind of gloves and clothes, they seemed to glow with a very weak light

"All this for this crap but I guess I have to take them now since I did all this to get them"

she said as she picked up the clothes, as she was picking them up she notice that the clothes didn't fit her, they were bigger than her, the girl then took out her phone and proceeded to send a voice message

"Captain Kamira, I secured the mana equipment, the place was secured by 2 fresh mana users they didn't even know how to use the elements, the box they were hiding contained just some mana-infused clothes, they are not something special they are barely even enchanted so I will be taking them, now I will proceed with the main mission, I will text you back when I finish"

she then closed her smartphone and quickly exited the cave, she then faced Biol's direction, she enhanced her legs with mana and launched herself at the island, she flew through the air but the momentum she had wasn't enough to reach the island before she could meet the water she once again enhanced her legs and stepped on the water and launched herself again, this time she easily made it to the port of the island

'Now let's figure out where is the school, it can't be that hard, I also have my papers and all, I just have to show them the papers and I'm in, just like that'

she thought, the girl then wandered around asking random people about the school and shortly she arrived, but on her way to the school she could feel a huge amount of mana flying left and right, it wasn't normal but she ignored it, for now, the girl arrived on a teaching hour so everyone was inside a classroom

she easily walked to the principal's office and started negotiating

"Can I help you miss?"

the principal asked

"Yes I actually want to apply to this school, is it possible?"

she asked with a sweet smile

"It is but I need your parents or guardians here with you, you can't just enter this school"

the principal told her with a look of frustration, the girl gave him the papers, the paper contained her information and a note stuck to an envelope, the note said

This is a note from the CEO of the UMP and NSP accept this girl into the school and make sure she graduates it and I will give you a sum of 1.000.000€ you will receive your 200.000€ if you accept her and the other when she graduates if you approve her, the girl will send me a message informing me and I will quickly send you the sum

the principal was shocked, he couldn't believe his eyes

"How old are you girl?"

he asked with enthusiasm

"I'm 16"

she said, sweet now follow me, he showed her the way to her class, she followed him and after some seconds of walking she reached her classroom, the principal quickly nocked at the door and entered

"I'm sorry for the disruption, but there is a new student, you may enter"

he said as she entered the classroom

'oh she is a baddie'

Floga thought

"Introduce yourself to the class"

the teacher told her

"Hello everyone my name is Caroline Leviathan, nice to meet you all, I'm hoping we can all be good friends!"

Caroline said with a big smile, she instantly captured the attention of Luck, he was amazed by her looks

"Sweet name Caroline, now go sit on an empty seat, so we can continue the lesson"

Caroline nodded, she quickly notice that the desk that Luck was sitting at had an empty seat so she decided to sit there, Luck was freaking out, he quickly became the center of attention and the clear target since he was lucky enough to sit beside this beauty

"psst, what lesson is this?"

she asked Luck

"t-t-this is p-philosophy"

Luck awkwardly replied

"Oh I see, thank you! you don't mind if I sleep do you?"

Caroline asked him, Luck was caught off guard but he didn't have a problem, so Caroline lowered her head and fell asleep, the lesson continued normally without any problem after the period ended the bell rang, Caroline woke up from the sound of the bell

"It's over already? that sucks"

she said as she was resting her head on the desk

"W-Would you mind moving please"

Luck asked her politely, she then moved her chair so Luck could get out of his corner

'Why the hell does he have bruises on him? I guess it's not my problem'

She thought, Luck then went outside to the schoolyard, Floga and his crew followed him, once they got to a place where they could be far from the teachers they ganged up on Luck

"You lucky bastard, you had her all for yourself, I bet you looked at her multiple times! you must be feeling lucky right now huh bastard!!!"

Floga said as he was pushing him aggressively to the wall, Luck felt weak

"Stop that! it's not my fault that she sat beside me is it? I will give you my seat if you want, so leave me alone"

Luck said in an attempt to drive Floga and his crew away, Floga didn't back down though, in fact, he just laughed and kept on bullying him

"HEY, YOU! STOP THAT RIGHT NOW!"

Caroline screamed at them, she caught them by surprise

"Hey shut the fuck up! do you think you are some kind of hero?"

Floga told her, he left Luck alone and started approaching Caroline, but before he could get closer Luck grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him away, Floga fell to the ground but he quickly recovered

"DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH YOU, BASTARD?!!!"

Floga told him furiously, he then threw a punch in Luck's direction, Caroline blocked it and countered attacked with a kick on his liver, Floga quickly fell down from the hit

"What are you doing you bastards!"

a friend of Floga told them, before he could take action Caroline quickly hit him with a 2 punch combo on his chin, she knocked him out, after him she uppercut another one of his friends, he collapsed too, Caroline left only one person unharmed

"Make sure they are ok or else you will get double the punches ya hear me punk?!"

she told him while she glared at him, Luck was confused, he didn't believe that a girl that looked that sweet could beat up all the bullies that he had, Caroline quickly grabbed him by his hand and told him

"Follow me, I don't want to get in trouble!"

Luck didn't have an option but to follow, this day for Luck was something different

'maybe things will finally change'

he thought as he was running with Caroline to a place that they could hide
