Chapter 14: The lame King
"How could you David, how could you?," Tina fired at him. She could feel her anger rising so bad that she had to clutch her hands and clip her lips to the roof of her mouth to control her rising anger.

"I still have more than two years to spend in this college for God's sake. I am supposed to roam in the streets of college now? How am I supposed to talk to my friends? Tell David," she thundered angrily at him.

"I tried to explain Tina but I just couldn't get myself to do it," David replied.

Before he knew it, fresh tears began to pour from his eyes.

"Do you think those tears of yours will move me? Will it wipe away the disgrace you made me face today eh?" She growled.

"You told me everything was in order," she thundered.

"Yes, I know. But I lost my job this afternoon and I already spent all my money on your clothing materials. I am bankrupt Tina, bankrupt," David sobbed.
